AIM Health Testimonies: Dr.
Mary Ruth Swope.
It is not complicated, it
is about faith
Faith, hope, and charity.
That’s the way to live
successfully.
How do I know?
It is an old children’s
Sunday school rhyme. It was not written about Dr. Mary Ruth Swope, but it could
have been. She wears her love of God and her faith right out in the open and
she is not embarrassed about it one bit. She calls each day a “glory to God
story. I am not ashamed of being a fanatical Christian. God has never let me
down – health-wise, financially,
professionally, or personally.” She was raised in a Christian
household and was born-again at 16 while a freshman in college. “I felt peace
and love simultaneously.”
Mary Ruth, an AIM
Chairman’s Club Director, is one of three memberships to receive more than $5
million in commissions. She didn’t find it at her feet one day, she did it the
old-fashioned way … she earned it. Once she learned of the AIM products in the
early 1980s, her “vision was to have a wonderful post-retirement life of less
daily pressure with more opportunities for travel, study, spiritual
development, and gardening – things I was unable to do while working,” adding,
“As far as I can judge, my record at The AIM Companies as an outstanding
business-builder is due entirely to one factor – God had a plan for my life and
He showed it to me.”
It is 1982. Mary Ruth and
her husband are retired from their university posts. They attend a weekend
retreat. A woman she doesn’t know tells her of a dream in which she sees Mary
Ruth going down an emerald green highway with doors of all sizes and shapes on
both sides of the road. Mary Ruth would not be able to open any of the doors, but God would for
her. She recalls leaving the retreat and laughing about the
silly dream. Then two months later it didn’t seem so silly.
David and Cece Brewer, AIM
Members, showed her a 30-minute video during which Dr. Yoshihide Hagiwara
explains the benefits of young green barley plants. Three times they asked to
sponsor her; three times she said no. But, she thought, maybe God is trying to
tell me something here. She prayed, God told her, “The way is clear. There are
no hindrances.” She signed up.
The doctor in
Dr. Mary Ruth Swope is no honorary title. She has a bachelor’s degree in home
economics from Winthrop College in South Carolina, a master’s degree in foods
and nutrition from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, and a doctorate
in administration from Columbia University, New York City. At her retirement,
she was a university dean and a full professor of foods and nutrition.
With a background grounded
in the value of education and God leading her to AIM and its green barley
product, Mary Ruth learned all she could about barley and about AIM’s marketing
plan. She began to give jars of barley powder to friends and neighbours, asking
in return for the free product that they would provide her with detailed
testimonies about what it had done for them.
“I was told it was helpful
for heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, extra energy, skin problems, sunburns,
and many other conditions.” Then came speaking opportunities around the
country, radio and TV interviews, and phone calls and letters from people who
wanted to know about the product. She also wrote a couple of books, Green
Leaves of Barley, The Spiritual Roots of Barley, and Bless Your Children Every
day, as well as a video, “Nutrition Update for the Not Too Late.”
The more she learned about
barley, the more everything seemed to fit. There was a trip to Japan to see the
barley fields and the processing plant. Her roommate was AIM Chairman’s Club
Director Janet Pauly – “I appreciate her so much.” At one point, she heard Dr.
Hagiwara speak about his research on barley, how he looked into the nutritional
value of more than 400 plants from around the world, concluding with, “Barley
leaves are the most prolific source of all the nutrients in a balanced form in
a single food on the face of the earth.” Following that speech, “I had a
spiritual revelation while reading a chapter in Leviticus. God spoke to Moses
and told him to use barley leaves as a sin offering for the Israelites. At that
time in history, sin offerings were required to be perfect. My mind made the
connection – God was insinuating that barley leaves were perfect and Dr.
Hagiwara’s research had led to the same conclusion. My own experience convinces
me that barley leaves are our number one source of nutrients for good health as
well as defence against disease.”
Mary Ruth lives what she
believes. “The greatest thing I learned from my parents was to love people – to
help anyone in need in any way I could. Then my pastor persuaded me to tithe
and that was the second greatest thing I learned in my life. I was 23 and my
salary was $113 a month for 10 months. From that day to this, I have never
earned a cent or received one as a gift or an earning on which I did not
tithe.”
She continues with her
mission work, the physical energy to do it, she says, “due to the AIM products,
undoubtedly.” She is a daily user of the AIM Garden Trio® (AIM BarleyLife, AIM
Just Carrots, and AIM RediBeets), plus uses AIM Cellsparc 360®, AIM Bear Paw
Garlic®, AIMega®, AIM Proancynol®, ProPeas® and AIM PrepZymes®.
Dennis Itami, a founder
and co-owner of AIM, says of Mary Ruth: “No doubt she has reached more people
directly, over radio and TV broadcasts, than any other Member. Who knows how
many Bibles have been sent to foreign lands, financed from sales of AIM
products. Mary Ruth will have a special place in God’s kingdom with her
passionate support of the Gospel of Christ.”
Mary Ruth’s husband,
Donald (“I could not have had a more wonderful husband”), is gone but she has
two children, Stephen Cornwell and Susan Darbro. She lives in northeast Texas.
She has travelled worldwide in her ministries, as an educator, and for her AIM
business. “But hear this. The friendships I have made in AIM far exceed most of
those I made in my professional career at all levels. My AIM friends are my
true brothers and sisters who make me feel wanted, needed, and able. My AIM
Chinese friends deserve special mention – they love me with their eyes and
their smiles.” She says she can’t count all her AIM friends but will always be
thankful to Janet Pauly and Dr. John Shewfelt for sharing themselves and their
knowledge with her.
The future? “My plans are
in God’s hands.” It has been that way, she says, since she was a young girl learning from her maternal
grandmother about prayer, Scripture, and to love Jesus. “My deep
conviction is that we are at the end of the church age. Soon, I believe, we
will be experiencing end-time events. My prayer is that every AIM Member will
be ready to go.”
Then she adds with that
ever-present Mary Ruth twinkle: “Bring your own
AIM Garden Trio® just in
case my Tree of Life is short of fruit!”
Dr. Mary Ruth Swope
recommends The AIM Garden Trio® and ProPeas® to all new AIM product users.

According
to Dr. Mary Ruth Swope with 68 Years of Nutritional Study says clearly that prayer and fasting is the
winning combination - physically, mentally, emotionally, psychologically, and
spiritually. You feel enriched and at peace, especially when fasting is
accompanied by your being quiet in your spirit. Wholeness of body, soul, and
spirit can be best achieved by prayer and fasting.
This
has been my own experience.
An in-depth presentation on Prayer and Fasting may be found in my book
Lifelong Health Paperback – November, 1997

Brent Andrew Batson says on Facebook
Mary Ruth Swope, (who teaches mystical
“Listening Prayer,” a.k.a. “Contemplative Prayer”), may teach that “Wholeness
of body, soul, and spirit can be best achieved by prayer and fasting,” but
“holistic” (a.k.a. “wholistic”) medicine is a New Age/occult concept that is contrary to
biblical Christianity. “Holistic” medicine presumes that a physician, (or a
medical treatment, or a diet), should treat the whole man, including his
body/soul/spirit,
(or body/mind/spirit),
which three things (1) are not inextricably connected, and (2) require
different areas of expertise,
(i.e.,
you don’t want your medical doctor giving you spiritual advice, any more than
you should go to your pastor for medical advice). !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so you say, what a load of
rubbish.
SO A PASTOR
CANNOT TEACH FROM THE TORAH THIS FACT -- International research studies have
proven that the
Israelite dietary laws, when followed, produce the healthiest
people on earth. THE TORAH IS FULL OF medical advice, HEALTH ISSUES AND WHAT TO
EAT FOR A HEALTHY BODY.
If a pastor
fails to teach about fasting and dietary laws, he is just another liar and deceiver
walking down a very narrow road that leads to the gutter.
You don’t
want your medical doctor giving you spiritual advice,
WELL,
if the doctor is spirit filled, born again and follow the Israelite dietary
laws, you would be crazy not to do what they say.
As Richard G. Howe, Ph.D.,
wrote, “Holistic Medicine, sometimes spelled 'wholistic', is a movement in our
society exploring the potential medical benefits of coupling emotional and
spiritual techniques to established medical procedures in an attempt to treat
the ‘whole’ person: body, mind, and spirit. Holistic Medicine is also referred
to as holistic healing or health, alternative medicine, and New Age medicine.
The initial surge of popularity of the holistic health movement is due largely
to the revival of occultism in Western society called the New Age Movement.
Thus, it is
fair to say that the beliefs and practices which characterize holistic medicine are occult.!!!!!!!!
In labelling holistic medicine as New Age or occult, I am not saying anything
which any informed New Age or occult scholar would deny.” REALLY
The body does not affect
the spirit, and the spirit does not affect the body. Jesus said, “THAT WHICH IS
BORN OF THE FLESH IS FLESH; AND THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT IS SPIRIT,”
(John 3:6), and said that the things we eat do not defile the (true, inner)
man, but only the wicked things that come out of the inner man defile him:
Matthew 15:11 NOT THAT
WHICH GOETH INTO THE MOUTH DEFILETH A MAN; but that which cometh out of the
mouth, this defileth a man.
…
17 Do not ye yet
understand, that WHATSOEVER ENTERETH IN AT THE MOUTH GOETH INTO THE BELLY, AND
IS CAST OUT INTO THE DRAUGHT?
18 But those things which
proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
19 For out of the heart
proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false
witness, blasphemies:
Mark 7:18 And he saith
unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that
WHATSOEVER THING FROM WITHOUT ENTERETH INTO THE MAN, IT CANNOT DEFILE HIM;
19 BECAUSE IT ENTERETH NOT
INTO HIS HEART, BUT INTO THE BELLY, AND GOETH OUT INTO THE DRAUGHT, PURGING ALL
MEATS?
20 And he said, That which
cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
21 For from within, out of
the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22 Thefts, covetousness,
wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
23 All these evil things
come from within, and defile the man.
Religious or spiritual
rules about food, (other than not eating blood, (Acts 15:20, 29) because it
contains “the life”(Deuteronomy 12:23)), are worthless to the Christian:
Colossians 2:20 Wherefore
if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, WHY, AS THOUGH
LIVING IN THE WORLD, ARE YE SUBJECT TO ORDINANCES,
21 (TOUCH NOT; TASTE NOT;
HANDLE NOT;
22 WHICH ALL ARE TO PERISH
WITH THE USING;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
In fact, the Holy Spirit
warned, through the Apostle Paul, that in the “latter times” some would leave
the true faith and follow “seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils,” which
doctrines would include DIETARY RESTRICTIONS, while God has created EVERY creature “to be
received,” and “nothing to be refused,” by Christians: REALLY. So if I
gave you a rat or mouse to eat.
What would
you do? In the Torah it is an abomination to eat such pests.
Glory to
father in heaven, I am not a Christian. So be it.
Isaiah 66:17
They that
sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one [tree] in
the midst, eating swine's flesh, and
the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed
together, saith the "I AM".
Proverbs
28:9 He that
turneth away his ear from hearing The “ROYAL LAW”, even his prayer [shall be] abomination.
1 Timothy 4:1 Now the
Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the
faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
having their conscience seared with a hot
iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and
COMMANDING
TO ABSTAIN FROM MEATS, vegans.
[Greek “broma,” “food (literally or figuratively), especially (ceremonially)
articles allowed or forbidden by the Jewish law”]
IT IS NOT A JEWISH LAW, IT WAS GIVEN FROM MOSES
WHO IS NOT JEWISH, FROM FATHER IN HEAVEN, KNOWN AS THE TORAH WHICH CHRISTAINS
REFUSE TO DO AND OBEY. Speaking
lies in hypocrisy, WHO DOES THIS!!!!
Rabbis;
Priests and Imams
God abolished the Jewish Rabbis and priests
two thousand years ago, but they have arrogantly and stubbornly refused to obey
Him and cease their treason against God, for two thousand years, whilst, just
like the pope etc. who do exactly the same, falsely claiming to work for Him, when He says they
don't. The following is Biblical PROOF of this FACT:-
EZEKIEL
34 (Precis) 6th century B.C.
WHICH GOD HATH CREATED TO
BE RECEIVED WITH THANKSGIVING OF THEM WHICH BELIEVE AND KNOW THE TRUTH.
4 For EVERY CREATURE of
God is GOOD, and NOTHING TO BE REFUSED,
AS
LONG AS THE TORAH APPROVES OF IT. SIMPLE AS THAT.
if it be received with thanksgiving:
5 For it is sanctified by
the word of God and prayer.
If a Christian wants to
eat what they believe to be a healthy diet, that is fine – but if they are
eating certain things, or fasting from certain things, in order to get
physically healthy, then (if it works) they have their reward, and it is ONLY
physical. Biblical FASTING IS FOR SPIRITUAL REASONS, and if it is done for ANY
OTHER REASON, then there is NO SPIRITUAL REWARD:
Matthew
6:16 Moreover WHEN YE FAST, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance:
for they disfigure their faces, THAT THEY MAY APPEAR UNTO MEN TO FAST. Verily I
say unto you, THEY HAVE THEIR REWARD [solely other men’s respect as being
pious].
17
But THOU, WHEN THOU FASTEST, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
18
That thou appear not unto men to fast, but UNTO THY FATHER WHICH IS IN SECRET:
and thy Father, which seeth in secret, SHALL REWARD THEE OPENLY [spiritual
rewards, such as answers to prayer].
