TOP REASONS WHY “IGLESIA NI CRISTO” IS A FALSE CHURCH:

The Iglesia Ni Cristo believes that
God the Father is the creator deity and the only
true God. INC rejects the
traditional Christian belief in the
Trinity as heresy, adopting a version of Unitarianism. They believe that this
position is attested by Jesus Christ and the
Apostles.
THE BACKGROUND OF THE
PLAN
In order that we may understand this great Plan,
the Bible narrative, first of all, takes us away back in thought to the remote
past before ever the Earth or the Universe existed. The opening words of the
Bible simply state, "In the beginning God..."
Logical thinking demands that there
must have been what is known as a ‘first cause’ as the beginning of all things
that now are. It is believed that this ‘first cause’ had the power of thought
and that it was capable of transmuting thought into action; and, in fact, the power
of turning thought into substance. The Bible makes the claim that this ‘first
cause’ is the mysterious Personality of God, Who Himself is uncreated and
eternal, complete within Himself (self-existing - YHWH - "I AM") and
possessing all wisdom. David the Psalmist declared, "Before the mountains
were brought forth, or ever Thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even
from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God" (Ps. 90:2).
Of the substance of His Own Being
(Spirit - energy), and from His Own Being, the Father created the Son, who
himself is spirit, being of one substance with the Father. There also proceeded
forth from the Father and the Son, the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of Truth.
Thus was the Godhead constituted, still one in spirit and unity, but manifested
as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The human mind is surely incapable
of comprehending the infinite nature of God. Zophar, in the Old Testament -
Covenant story, wished to emphasise this fact to Job when he said, "Canst
thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto
perfection? It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what
canst thou know?" (Job 11:7-8). We can but behold the glory of His
handiwork in nature and accept, by faith, the Divine revelation which we have
been granted, realising that we may spend all eternity still discovering more
of His greatness.
"In the Beginning God created the
heaven and the earth." Now follows what the Bible calls ‘Heaven’, which
became the abode of God, Who created the angelic host, spiritual beings (of
light - energy) whose chief attributes are wisdom and strength (2 Sam. 14:20;
Ps. 103:20). They also inhabited Heaven. Among the angels there was a higher
order of archangels, amongst whom were Michael, Gabriel and Lucifer. Further
creative activity by the Godhead followed, in which the Heavens (Universe) and
the Earth were made (Gen. 1:1, John 1:1-5, Heb. 1:1-3). This seems to be the
divine order, and the Book of Job declares that the angelic host rejoiced greatly
at the creation of the Earth, "When the Morning Star’s inhabitants sang
together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy" (Job 38:7).
While the Son (Michael - Dan. 10:21)
sat upon the Throne with the Father in Heaven, the archangel Lucifer (created
from energy - Sura 7:12) and his
followers were sent to the Earth after the war they had fought against
God (Rev. 12:7-9), once it had been created to be the prison for these sinners
as a result of the Divine Judgement against them. Isaiah, chapter fourteen,
supplies a clue, for here is revealed the story of the great fall of Lucifer
who fell through arrogance, and because of his jealousy of the Most High. Thus
it is written: "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the
Morning (Star)! How art thou cut down to the earth, which did weaken the
nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will
exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation,
in the sides of the North: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I
will be like (take the Place of) The Most High. Yet, thou shalt be brought down
to hell (Earth), to the sides of the pit (Hell-Fire)." (Isaiah 14:12-15).
This passage marks the beginning of evil in the Universe. When Lucifer said,
"I will", (his will not God’s Will) sin began.

One God, which is a central doctrine of Christianity. Further, INC also denies
that Jesus Christ, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, is God, in the
following INC published statement of Beliefs about Christ:
“There is no trinity of persons in God. Though the Bible speaks
of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, never does it refer to all of them
as gods nor as three persons in one God.”
“But we do not subscribe to the belief that Christ is a God-Man.
He is man in nature according to His own testimony (John 8:40) and the
teachings of His Apostles (I Tim. 2:5; Matt. 1:18).”
“Christ will eventually subject all His power and authority to
the true God (I Cor. 15:27-28). He had in so many instances introduced Himself
as the Son of God but never did He appropriate the title “God” nor “God the
Son” for Himself because He is NOT God but a man.

This sect teaches that God is God the Father, that Jesus is an
inferior god and that the Holy Spirit is just one of the seven spirits or an
angel.

- Felix Manalo and his followers claim that he is an “angel of God.” However,
Scriptures tell us that angels are supernatural beings endowed with God’s
authority and are higher than man. (Exodus 23:20-21) They are created by God
Himself and not generated by any other creature. They are immortal and cannot
experience physical death. On the other hand, Felix Manalo is an ordinary human
being who was born of human parents and who died physically. He is clearly a
mere human being, not a supernatural being like the angels.
- Manalo’s claim as the “fourth angel”, and thereby his
superiority to Jesus, really transforms Iglesia ni Cristo into a religion that
is not Christian. It is ironic that Iglesia ni Cristo uses the name of Christ
when in fact they deny and reject
the Divinity of Christ.
4. FELIX MANALO CLAIMS HE IS THE LAST PROPHET OR MESSENGER OF
GOD.

falsely claims. The Scriptures clearly mention all the prophets that were
raised up by God from Abraham to Isaac to Jacob to Moses… and finally to John,
the Baptist, to proclaim and prepare the way of the coming Messiah. Felix
Manalo is never mentioned anywhere in Scriptures as a prophet or messenger of
God. The fact is that he is a “self-proclaimed prophet” and never called or
ordained by God to be His messenger.

5. JESUS FOUNDED A HIERARCHICAL CHURCH COMPOSED OF BISHOPS,
PRIESTS, & DEACONS.

The popes claim to be the successors to Cephas
(Petrus/Peter) which means "a little pebble or stone"
NOT a rock (petra). The Rock (Petra) was the TRUTH that Simon Peter (Petrus)
had spoken, when he said that Jesus Nazir was the Christ (incarnated), and that
TRUTH was the key to heaven that Simon Bar-jona (the Being) not Cephas (the
human, nick-named "Stone") received (Matt. 16:17).
If
the popes knew anything (and his book is PROOF that they don't) about God they
would not claim to be successors to Peter (the human) because not only was
Cephas (Peter) NOT the first pope, he was NOT even a disciple. And that was
official from God Himself via His angel messenger at Christ's Tomb, and it is
written, in Mark 16 v 7 - "tell His Disciples and Peter."
Simon
Bar-jona (the Being) was given the key but Peter (his human) never learned to
use it.
Peter
was also NOT CELIBATE. He had a WIFE and children, and it is written, in Matt.
8 v 14 & Mark 1 v 29-31.
The
pope IS a successor to Cephas (John 1 v 42 "And he brought him to Jesus.
And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt
be called Cephas [Petrus - Peter], which is by interpretation, a STONE."
and 1 Corinthians 9 v 5) in one respect; and that is that Satan is speaking
through the pope; just as he did through Peter/Cephas - "the little
stone" - when Peter contradicted Christ (like the pope does) immediately
after having been given the key to heaven (Matt. 16:22-23); and he IS a sinful
man, just like Peter was, by his OWN CONFESSION, (Luke 5 v 8) and Peter's.

CONDEMNS himself (just
like pharaoh did ). John says, and it is written, in his letter 1 John 3 v 6-9
that, "whoever sins does NOT know Christ and to let no man deceive you. He
that sins IS of the DEVIL." It can't be any clearer than that! God, THE
Holy Father Himself, makes a statement, and it is written, in Ezekiel 18 v 4,
about which there can be absolutely NO doubt, "The soul (Being) that sins,
IT SHALL DIE." - No "IFs, ANDs or BUTs."
The
pope's assertion, in the centre of page 11 of his book, that he is a
"MYSTERY" (Revelation/Apocal. 17 v 5) and that Christ will be
contradicted (Luke 2 v 34) is IRONIC because the papacy itself has been doing
EXACTLY THAT since it began. In the pope's own BLASPHEMOUS book he is PROVING
that to be TRUE, because he himself continues the "TRADITION", when
he is contradicting both Christ and God, making blasphemous statements about
himself; when, exactly as Paul/Saul prophesied, and it is written, in 2
Thessalonians 2 v 4, the pope claims to be the Holy Father (God -
Revelation/Apocalypse 15:4). That means he is claiming to be God the Father.
7. JESUS FOUNDED HIS CHURCH IN JERUSALEM 2,000 YEARS AGO.
IGLESIA NI CRISTO WAS FOUNDED IN THE PHILIPPINES ONLY IN 1914.

seek to go out of the world again (learning nothing of any value in
between-time).

in 2:14). When they have shaken off their wine, then will they repent.
The Sabbath (Saturday) was to be used to teach your
children to sing this "Song", not hymns or rock and roll etc. but
THIS "Song", without which you can NOT survive or live in peace and
HARMONY with your fellow man.
