For
those new to the Sikh faith, this handy guide provides 11 virtues to strive for
and 11 behaviours to avoid, offering a map for Sikh living at a glance. Of
course, Sikhism is much more than the sum of its do's and don’ts; however,
understanding the process entailed in Sikh living is important to attaining and
maintaining proper Sikh standards of conduct.
11 Virtues to Strive For
The
Sikh way of life involves conquering the self-oriented ego as a means of
achieving grace and enlightenment. These eleven Sikhism "do's"
include basic principles or pillars of Sikh ideals, essentials of Sikh living
and the foundation of Sikhism’s code of conduct necessary to Sikh living
according to the gurus' teachings.
1. Respect the equal
rights of all other people, regardless of their rank, gender, caste, class, colour,
or creed.
Dear
friends,
Abba
Father has revealed to me that we all have two hands. Each hand we have
represents the Royal Law.
The first hand is the one where we all must love Abba Father with all our
hearts “our spirit being”.
The
second hand is the one where we all must love our neighbour as thyself. Who is
our neighbour; the one next door, the one on the other side of this planet and
every one in between? Therefore, about 7.25 billion all up.
As
our hands are joined to our body, so is Abba Fathers Royal Law joined to our
spirit man and cannot be separated. If I say I love Abba Father and hate my
neighbour(s) for any reason. It is not possible.
TO LOVE Abba
Father and MY neighbour(s) IS THE Royal Law OF LOVE, GRACE AND MERCY to all
mankind forever. AMEN
2. Share your worldly
belongings and your knowledge with others, especially those in need. He who lives by good
DEEDS is a true worshiper of Yahweh.
In
Gods eyes those who live by DOING GOOD DEEDS are truly RIGHTEOUS and HOLY and
they shall and will receive eternal life and receive a crown of righteousness
because of their Righteous ACTS.
We
will be judged according to our good deeds or works.
Rev.
20:12 (KJV)
And
I saw the dead, small and great, stand before “I AM”; and the books were
opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead
were judged out of those things which were written in the books,
According to their works.
Rev.
30:12-14
And
behold, the Christ cometh quickly, for a millennium will pass and near another
and there will be made a sign in the heavens. And you will know this
"Star" that called the wise and all-knowing to Bethlehem. Seek there
the "Star" (Matt. 24:30-31) at the appointed time, and all spirit
will rejoice in the reward, even unto those who come out of the body (2 Cor.
5:8, 10), that every man according to his WORK shall be".
3. Perform altruistic
service for benefit of all humanity.
Earn income by honest employment and determined, hard
effort. You are allowed to benefit from your work and take pride in your
success

4. Come to the aid of the
defenseless. Sikhs are expected to champion the downtrodden. YOU shall love one
another as much as I love you and in the same way - spiritually not physically
- John 15 v 13. IF you DO this, ALL men will KNOW that you ARE my disciples and
are exercising and learning "Self" discipline - Discipleship.
5. Keep all hair intact
and unaltered. Sikhs do not trim their hair or shave.
6. Meditate and read or
recite daily prayers. Regular meditation and prayer are essential to the Sikh
lifestyle. The Gnostics were early followers of "The Way" (Christ)
who believed that followers of The One God should not merely revere Christ, but
strive to emulate him, in every thought, word and deed. They sought to describe
this emulation in philosophical terms, as a method of practice. As the early
Roman church formulated its canons, the Gnostics were eventually considered
willful heretics, opposed to turning their lives over to God as a matter of
faith. To become a true believer, the early church leaders claimed, one had to
forego understanding and analysis and be content to live life through divine
revelation, adhering to God's Will moment by moment. The churchmen did this in
order to sustain their control over the people. They wished to keep His True
Teachings and overall plan from the public, so people would be deceived into
thinking that they had to go to the churchmen to find God, rather than learning
to look within and find the Divine within themselves as Christ's Message to the
world had been.
Accusing
the church hierarchy of tyranny, the Gnostics argued that their understandings
and methods were intended to actually facilitate this act of "letting go
to God's Will" that the church was requiring, rather than giving mere
lip-service to the idea, as the churchmen were doing.
7. Worship and recognize
the one divine light that is manifest in all things. Sikhs see the divine in
all things.
In order that we may understand this great Plan, the Bible narrative, first of
all, takes us away back in thought to the remote past before ever the Earth or
the Universe existed. The opening words of the Bible simply state, "In the
beginning God..."
Logical
thinking demands that there must have been what is known as a ‘first cause’ as
the beginning of all things that now are. It is believed that this ‘first
cause’ had the power of thought and that it was capable of transmuting thought
into action; and, in fact, the power of turning thought into substance. The
Bible makes the claim that this ‘first cause’ is the mysterious Personality of
God, Who Himself is uncreated and eternal, complete within Himself
(self-existing - YHWH - "I AM") and possessing all wisdom. David the
Psalmist declared, "Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever Thou
hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting,
Thou art God" (Ps. 90:2).
Of
the substance of His Own Being (Spirit - energy), and from His Own Being, the
Father created the Son, who himself is spirit, being of one substance with the
Father. There also proceeded forth from the Father and the Son, the Holy
Spirit, who is the Spirit of Truth. Thus was the Godhead constituted, still one
in spirit and unity, but manifested as the Father, the Son, and the Holy
Spirit. The human mind is surely incapable of comprehending the infinite nature
of God. Zophar, in the Old Testament - Covenant story, wished to emphasise this
fact to Job when he said, "Canst thou by searching find out God? canst
thou find out the Almighty unto perfection? It is as high as heaven; what canst
thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?" (Job 11:7-8). We can but
behold the glory of His handiwork in nature and accept, by faith, the Divine
revelation which we have been granted, realising that we may spend all eternity
still discovering more of His greatness.
8. Regard any other
person who is not your spouse as your brothers or sisters. Treat all people as
beloved members of your family.
Love your neighbour (not physically) as much as,
or more than, you love your "Self". Then you will not do wrong, or
lie, to anyone - John 15 v 13.
Do
NOT desire eagerly, or touch, anything that does not belong to you. It belongs
to your neighbour, not you, and YOU must respect HIS property. Your neighbour
is the person next to you and the person on the far side of the planet and
everyone in between.

9. Become initiated as
Khalsa through baptism and wear the five articles of faith as a symbol of your
dedication and faith.
Satan has deceived you all into believing that
you are "ONLY human", which of course; Satan being the Devil, (which
is Hebrew meaning the LIAR); is a LIE, as Jesus stated clearly to Nicodemus and
it is written in the Gospel of John, chapter 3 verses 3-7.
3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, TRULY, TRULY, I say unto thee, Except a man
be born from above, he cannot SEE the Kingdom of God.
3:4
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter
the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water
(human) and then (later) is born from above as his spirit-Being (his REAL self
which is NOT human), he can NOT enter into the Kingdom of God (Who Himself is a
Spirit-Being).
3:6
That which is born of the flesh is human; and that which is born of the Spirit
is spirit (a spirit-Being) - (human+Being).
3:7
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
3:8
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but
canst not tell whence it cometh, and where it goeth: so is every one that is
born of the Spirit.
3:9
Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? (How can I not
be human?)
3:10
Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a teacher of Israel, and knowest not
these things? (Read Matthew ch. 23 verses 8-12)
3:11
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that which we do know, and testify
that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
3:12
If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if
I tell you [of] heavenly (spirit) things?
3:13
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven,
[even] the Son of Man which is from heaven.
People
who believe Satan's lie, believe that they have only one life and a very short
time in which to acquire as much as they possibly can, of everything, before
they die; and those same people, who are in love with materialism and its
variety (the spice Melange), are actually helping Satan to poison (pollute) and
destroy the Earth.
10. Follow the ideals of
the ten gurus, accepting the perpetual guidance of Sikhism's scripture, the
Guru Granth.
Jesus
Christ was The Perfect Example of how every person on Earth should be. He (the
Spirit-Being Christ) came here from heaven (another planet - the Morning Star),
and after the 'miracle' Virgin-Birth so people would know He was different, was
incarnated into the human body called Jesus. The reason He came was to teach us
by His demonstration of 'The Way' we must be and treat each other, so we can
all live together in harmony and not destroy the planet we are living on.
Unfortunately though, like the rest of The Bible and Koran, His teachings have
been corrupted and turned into stupid rites and rituals by the various
religions and cult groups as well.
Like
usual, satan, the devil has always had and have a counterfeit religion in the
background to throw a spanner in God's work.
Nimrod
who is an idol worshipper and serves other gods which is "the Religion of
the Day" is constantly attacking Abram who is the only one who is "true
in faith".
11
Hindrances to Avoid
The
goal of Sikhism is to subdue and overcome the effects of ego, which foster
duality and keep us from realizing enlightenment and union with the divine.
These 11 things to avoid help Sikh's keep from falling into the trap of
egocentric living.
*
Deuteronomy 30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death
and evil;
30:16
In that I command thee this day to love the "I AM" thy God, to walk
in His Ways, and to keep His Commandments and His Statutes and His Judgments,
that thou mayest live and multiply: and the "I AM" thy God shall
bless thee in the land where thou goest to possess it.
7:15
And the "I AM" will take away from thee all sickness, and will put
none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay
them upon all [them] that hate thee.
Sedata
was then tempted by the five (seven really) deceptively innocent looking
daughters of Marah/Lucifer/Iblis the lord of darkness:- Pride (Arrogance);
Greed (Avarice); Fear (or Hate or Anger); Ignorance (of the real truth about
your "Self") and Desire (Lust or Covetousness) (the other two are
Sloth and Gluttony) - "The Seven Deadly Sins". The lord of darkness
(Marah - Lucifer - Iblis - Satan) had sent them to tempt Sedata away from his
search, but Sedata overcame* them.
*
Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the
churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the Tree of Life, which
is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Don't
worship idols. Sikhs celebrate the one divine light, not false representations.
16.
And Abram came to his father's house and saw twelve gods standing there in
their temples, and the anger of Abram was kindled when he saw these images in
his father's house.
17.
And Abram said, As the Lord liveth these images shall not remain in my father's
house; so shall the Lord who created me do unto me if in three days' time I do
not break them all.
18.
And Abram went from them, and his anger burned within him.
Avoid
deifying any human being. To do so is to court the problems of ego.
Never
pray to demigods or deities.
Matthew
6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt NOT be as the hypocrites [ARE]: for they
love to pray standing in the churches and in the corners of the streets, that
they may be seen by men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6:6
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and WHEN THOU HAST SHUT THY
DOOR, pray to thy Father in private (Enoch 56:5; Sura 7:55); and thy Father
which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
6:7
But when ye pray, use NOT vain repetitions, as the heathen [DO]: for they think
that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
6:8
Be NOT ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have
need of, BEFORE ye ask Him.
6:9
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed
be Thy name.
6:10
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven.
6:11
Give us this day our daily bread.
6:12
And forgive us our debts and trespasses (if we truly repent), as we forgive our
debtors and those who trespass against us (if they truly repent).
6:13
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Thine is the
Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
6:14
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive
you:
Do
not observe caste or practice gender inequality. All people are to be regarded
as equal in value.
Don't
give credence to auspicious dates, horoscopes, or astrology.
Avoid
being involved in illegal activities or dishonorable associates.
Do
not cut or otherwise alter the hair of the head, face, or body.
Don't
engage in premarital or extramarital intimacies.
Never
eat the meat of sacrificial animals.
Avoid
the practice of superstitious rituals.
He who lives by good DEEDS is a true worshiper of Yahweh
Luke 6:45-49 (KJV)
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Luke 10:30-37 (KJV)
And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. 33But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, 34And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. 36Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? 37And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
The Priest and the Levite who thought they were righteous and holy but when Yahshua tested them they failed to love their neighbour as themselves. Thereby their righteousness and holiness is made void because of the traditions of men. But the Samaritan, who was humble and compassionate, loved his neighbour and took care of him with no thought of reward.
A true worshiper of Father “I AM” is one who loves and takes care of those in need.
The Priest and the Levite failed because they believed that their creed, doctrines and dogma is superior to deed.
But in fact Yahshua says that DEED over creed is superior.
He who lives by good DEEDS is a true worshiper of Yahweh.
In Gods eyes those who live by DOING GOOD DEEDS are trulyRIGHTEOUS and HOLY and they shall and will receive eternal life and receive a crown of righteousness because of their Righteous ACTS.
We will be judged according to our good deeds or works.
Rev. 20:12 (KJV)
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before “I AM”; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books,
According to their works.
Rev. 30:12-14

As you can see, eternal life is based on keeping and doing
“I AM” laws, commands, statutes, judgments and degrees
We are judged according to our good works.
It has NOTHING to do with creed, doctrines and dogma which is all based on a believe system.
