In November of 1860, David Wyrick of Newark, Ohio found an inscribed stone in a burial mound about 10 miles south of Newark. The stone is inscribed on all sides with a condensed version of the Ten Commandments or Decalogue, in a peculiar form of post-Exilic square Hebrew letters. The robed and bearded figure on the front is identified as Moses in letters fanning over his head.

Welcome to the Location of the Oldest knownTENCommandments, the only place on Earth where the name of GOD is found having been written into a stone altar dedicated to Him, and the First place of worship established to the Biblical GOD in America!

South of Albuquerque, and west of Los Lunas, New Mexico, an ancient inscription was carved into the face of a boulder centuries ago. It is the text of the Ten Commandments, written in Hebrew!Of particular interest is the fact that the typeof Hebrew writing that was used was Paleo-Hebrew, which is the form of Hebrew writing that was used for approximately a one-thousand-year period, ending about 500 BC. This means that we can fairly conclude that the inscription of the Ten Commandments was engraved on the face of a boulder in New Mexico, North America, sometime prior to 500 BC!  The Holy One of Israel led colonies of righteous Israelites to the land of America, prior to the destruction of Jerusalem and the Babylonian dispersion that occurred in about 587 BC. Harvard scholar Robert Pfeiffer. Pfeiffer, an expert in Semitic languages, concluded that the mysterious inscription was written in a form of Paleo-Hebrew and paraphrased the Ten Commandments.

“I am Yahweh thy God who brought thee out of the land,” Pfeiffer’s translation began. “There shall not be unto them other gods before Me.” Hebrew scholars, such as Cyrus Gordon of Brandeis University near Boston, have vouched for its
authenticity. Historian Steven M. Collins points out that the “Las Lunas Stone” inscription in archaic Hebrew was written in the Hebrew letters of the style of the Moabite Stone, dated to about 1,000 B.C. This would place the  writing on the stone to the time of the kingdom of ancient Israel under its most affluent and powerful king, Solomon, who reigned from 1014 B.C. to 974 B.C. sea voyages around the world were fairly
common during the time of king Solomon, the son of David, during Israel’s “golden age.” Solomon’s incredible wealth also strongly points to the Las Lunas stone inscription as having been carved during his reign. Financing sailing voyages of discovery and maritime trade is no small feat. Vast sums and investments are required. Solomon was the wealthiest king who ever lived, and undoubtedly had the resources to fund such far reaching and dangerous voyages. Also, during his reign Israel was in league with the other major world powers of the day, including Tyre and the Phoenicians, and the nation of Egypt.

It is ‘Hidden Mountain’ (5507’) in New Mexico having the local “Mystery Stone” as it is still called by the State, now named the ‘Phoenician Inscription Rock’ on the official maps or “Mystery Rock” in their ‘area attractions’ lists.

The site is located 35 airmiles due SW of Albuquerque on Hwy 6 (Historic ‘Route 66’) at mm18 S of I-40 or 16 miles W of I-25 at Los Lunas (where for it has also become known as the “Los Lunas Decalogue”).

It was once an Israelite Wilderness Tabernacle site some 2500 or more years ago, with its high place Altar inscription to ‘the LORD our God’ of the Bible, and 80 ton boulder “Commandments stone” Mezuzah ‘at the gate’ -dating from the ‘Old Testament’ period of the Paleo-Hebrew ‘mother script’.  It is the only ’10 commandments’ yet found in the ancient writing.  Historically the mountain was called Cerro Los Moqujino (Cliff of the Strange writings) by the Native Americans stating it pre-existed the arrival of their ancestors into the area.

It’s been said there exists about 2,000 glyphs around Hidden Mtn. for a radius of about 6 miles.

The next most significant locale Hebrew is not far away (in the Purgatoire River valley due South of La Junta Colorado), where the oldest written inscriptions in the US are  (c.1250 BCE. conservatively), from the earliest Ligature phase of word-formation by ‘tying letters together into a picture’. Those too have YaH inscriptions identifiable with the Exodus people.

The actual massive rock which appears like a small ship with cleared keel (maybe what attracted his attention to it), of the volcanic basalt from the top Tertiary shelf is a remnant of geological prehistory which fell 2/3 of the way down the mountain to become what now has stood ground 2500+ years as a massive “Mezuzah” (Bible script found at every Jewish doorway). Set at a Right angle to the Left of the main entry before a natural gateway to this ancient site with Altar having the same writing but at exactly the opposite angle Leftward unto facing the River where it’s flowing in a strait line perfectly perpendicular to it.

Being the greatest of only three ‘10 commandments’ stones found anywhere in the world (the others being the “Ohio Decalogue” a much smaller example in a unique type of the post exilic Jewish square script and another one of the “Michigan Artifacts” found written in a Cuneiform style of Hebrew graphics!) and therefore most worthy of copy, these are made utilizing the complete Alphabet, the best example of the print closest to that writing of the original tablets, as the Paleo is the only Hebrew having an equal size characters letter set which plotting on both sides of two tablets according to the accounts would’ve required. These remakes of it are correct down to the very angle it sets at, but without the ancient scribes mistake of overlooking a part afterward realized and inserted (with a diacritical mark^), with the corrected spelling of a couple of the words and addition of yet a couple more he passed up for an accurate to Exodus 20 readable abridgement of the full Decalogue (as below unembossed)

There are a surprising number of evidences and corroborations that there have been Israelitesvisiting and living upon the American continents for thousands of years.

Other inscriptions, also written in Paleo-Hebrew, have been discovered in the states of Iowa, Ohio, and Tennessee, as well as in Brazil. In Newark, Ohio, a carved stone of curious workmanship was discovered which also bears an engraved inscription of the Ten Commandments of the Covenant – in Paleo-Hebrew. At a site known as Bat Creek cave, in Tennessee, an ancient Hebrew inscription has been found which mentions the Israelite tribe of Judah!

Another fascinating archaeological discovery in America is an ancient artifact bearing an old Hebrew inscription of the Ten Commandments unearthed in Ohio in 1860. The tablet also includes a scene of an individual – Moses – carved into the front of the tablet in considerable detail, holding the tablets of the Ten Commandments. This artifact was discovered in an ancient burial mound.

Without a doubt, these various inscriptions firmly establish the fact that Israelites were in America long before the arrival of Europeans!

Native Language & Customs

There are manyNative American Indian customs that confirm the fact of their Hebrew origins. Manyof those customs and linguistic evidences were noticed and recorded by the first Europeans who had contact with the various Indian tribes. Congressman]; A View of the Hebrews, by Ethan Smith; andAmerican Antiquities, by Josiah Priest.

The old customs of the American Indian people included manyrituals that were the same, or partially modified, from the equivalent Hebrew observances of the Mosaic Law. Each Indian tribe displayedsome customs or traditions that are definitely Hebrew in character. Examples include: circumcision in some tribes; ritual purification after touching a dead body; laws of unclean meats [many Indian tribes followed the dietary laws]; cities of refuge [to which a person who accidentallyhad committed a felony could flee for safety from retribution]; levirate marriages [the obligation of a brother to ‘raise up seed’ to a deceased brother who left a childless widow]; laws of niddah[separation] for menstruating women; ritual purification in preparation for warfare; manner of marriage, divorce, and punishment for adultery; their lunar-based calendar; animal sacrifices; and many others.

A strong example of the Hebrew origin of some American Indian people includes the observance of annual holy days, which correspond with the appointed feasts of the Bible. For example, many Native American tribes celebrated a spring holy day known generally as the “feast of green corn”, which was observed at the time of the full moon in early spring. Corresponding with this, we find that in the Hebrew calendar, the name for the month in which the Passover occurs was originally known as Abib, which can be translated as “green ear [of grain]”. Like the ‘feast of green corn’, the Passover was observed at the time of the full moon. Indian legends, including that of
the Yuchis, stating they had migrated to the area of Florida and Georgia from the region of the
Bahamas. According to their legends, the island sank beneath the sea and they fled for their
lives.
These same Yuchis later migrated to the Oklahoma territory, where they eventually
settled down. Amazingly enough, they show strong evidence that they had contact with the Old World in historic times. They have a custom which is unique among the American Indians. They are racially and linguistically different from their neighbors. Every year on the fifteenth day of the sacred month of harvest, in the fall, they make a pilgrimage. For eight days they live in “booths” with roofs open to the sky, covered with branches and leaves and foliage. During this festival, they dance around the sacred fire, and called upon the name of God. The ancient Israelites had the virtually identical custom, in many respects. In the harvest season in the fall, on the 15th day of the sacred month of harvest (the seventh month), theycelebrate the “festival of booths” for eight days. During this time they lived in temporary booths, covered with branches, leaves, fronds. This festival goes back to the time of Moses and the Exodus from ancient Egypt (Leviticus 23). Dr. Cyrus Gordon, of Brandeis University in Boston, was privileged to sit in on one of the fall harvest festivals of the Yuchi Indians, and listened to their chants, songs, and sacred ceremonies. An expert in Hebrew, Minoan, and many Middle Eastern languages, he was  incredulous. As he listened, he exclaimed to his companion, “My God! They are speaking the Hebrew names of God!”

Some of the best-educated Europeans who first contacted American Indians in eastern North America noticed that, in the language of many tribes, there were numerous words thatsounded the same, and had the same meaningas Hebrew words! Among those reaching this conclusion were notable early immigrants to North America, such as William Penn, Roger Williams, and Jonathan Edwards. Words that have the same sounds and meanings in Hebrew as they do in Indian languages include words for: man, wife, the heavens, prayer, winter, as well as numerous verbs and phrases. Among the words that were nearly identical to the Hebrew were Yo-he-wah[corresponding to Yahweh], and ha-le-lu or ha-le-lu-yah. Similarly, in the mid-1600’s, reports of Hebrew-speaking Indians in South America first came to the attention of Europeans. As in North America, not only did the Europeans discover many strong similarities between the spokenlanguages of the Indians and the Hebrew language, they also reported seeing inscriptions written in Hebrew, and a very strong similarity between Indian customs and Israelite practices.

Israelis made to America thousands of years before Europeans because there were sailors from the tribe of Zebulon and they went all over the world and left there mark. They left from the City of Eilat also it is recorded in the Old Testament that Solomon sent his navy all over to bring copper and silver and gold and tin and minerals like turquoise for the temple he was about to build. Also the name and continent is mentioned in The books of Talmud and Mishna that was written thousands of years ago. Israel knew that the world was round. The Vatican accepted the world being round after man stepped onto the moon and then and only then did they apologize for wishing to burn Galileo at the stake for stating that the world is round.

There are 759 statutes, laws and judgements in Scripture (this includes the 10 Commandments), which can be divided into 133 areas of subject matter for convenience. Today we'll be covering the Biblical Health Laws, with a special eye on diet and disease.

A common belief in our society is that sickness and disease are the result of luck. If you're lucky, you stay healthy. If you're unlucky, you get sick. At the turn of the century, medicine divided into two main camps: allopathic and holistic. The allopathic camp won the struggle, and our society, as a whole, subscribes to the allopathic theory of diseases and their cures. The only problem with this is that allopathic medicine is a reactive, not a proactive, form of treatment, i.e. it treats the symptoms, not the cause.

Now, in order to treat the cause of a disease, you need to know what caused it in the first place. At the risk of sounding simplistic, I contend the primary cause of disease is sin. In this case, I'm defining sin as the transgression of the Law. (see Leviticus 26:14-46 and Deuteronomy 28:15-68 for the causes of disease; John 3:4 for the definition of sin; also see Leviticus 26:16, 25 and Deuteronomy 28: 21-22, 27-28, 35, 45, 59-61)

In many cases, disease is caused by a nutritional deficiency, a toxic buildup in the body, or some combination of the two. In the case of nutritional deficiency, our failure to practice the land sabbaths and Jubilee years (among other things) has lead to a gradual lessening of the nutritional values of the food we eat - a lessening which has been so long in coming that, in most cases, even the experts don't notice the differences unless they're specifically looking for them. Think of it like a hillside being eroded 1/10 of an inch a year - to see any difference, you'll need pictures taken decades, even centuries, apart. For people who say "Nutrition is important, but lack of nutrition can't cause really major, life-threatening diseases" I point to scurvy (caused by lack of Vitamin C) and rickets (caused by lack of Vitamin D) as just two examples of nutritionally-based diseases which even allopathic medicine acknowledges. If you look at the list of diseases which can be alleviated or completely cured by proper nutrition, or carefully administered nutritional therapy (it's a lot harder to stop being sick than it is to get sick in the first place), it's a pretty long list. As for toxins causing disease, you need to look beyond the obvious cases of poisoning to see the scope of the problem. Nutritional deficiency is caused by not putting something into your body that it needs to survive and/or be healthy. Toxic buildup, on the other hand, is caused by putting something into your body that will prevent it from surviving and/or being healthy. Such things range from tar and nicotine (which cause lung cancer), meat that comes from carnivorous herbivores (this can cause new variant Creutzfeld-Jacob Disease AKA the human version of Mad-Cow Disease), fat (how many articles have you seen telling you to cut down on the fat in your diet because it causes heart disease?)... well, the list could go on indefinitely. The interesting thing is that Scriptural dietary laws forbid the taking into our body of such poisons... yet, each and every day, people blithely smoke while eating greasy hamburgers from McDonald's. And yet they wonder why they're sick? Those dietary laws were put there for a reason: to prevent disease. If you look at those groups which adhere (knowingly or unknowingly) to most, or all, of the Scriptual dietary laws you'll see significantly lower rates of the common degenerative diseases, and a higher life expectancy in general.

When you deal with the subject of communicable diseases (ranging from the common cold through plague) you'll find most people get sick not so much from the disease as from a weakened immune system, which can't protect you. When I talk about disease in this sense, I'm not talking about the one or two day sniffles, I'm talking about the one or two week, flat-on-your-back flu... or worse. And even allopathic medicine recognizes (to an extent) the importance of nutrition in fighting disease. Look how theyve pushed Vitamin C over the past 30 years. But having and keeping a healthy immune system requires more than just popping a few vitamin tablets every day and saying "Well, I'm protected now... guess I'll go out for that shrimp and hamburger special down at Captain D's." No amount of vitamin popping is going to protect you from yourself - and from the penalties for eating poorly and in violation of the Law.

Now, some people will say "This is BS. People are living longer today than they ever have before." Well, I know life expectancy in the industrialized countries (i.e. North America, Europe, Japan, etc.) today is longer than it's been in the past 2,000-2,500 years... but there isn't any real knowledge about how long people lived prior to that. Remember, the Bible and the histories of various peoples the world over note some pretty impressive life spans. In addition, scientists (the honest ones, at least) will note the vast majority of the lifespan increase over the past 100 years has been because of the significant lowering of infant and child mortality rates (mostly due to increased sanitation, emergency treatment, etc.). The chance that a person who makes it to 40 these days will make it to 60 or 80 isn't substantially different than it was in 1900 (the majority of the difference is due to trauma care). Besides, if you're like George Burns and live to be 100 while smoking cigars and eating who knows what, can you imagine how long you might live if you took care of yourself and avoided both acute (short term) and chronic (long term) diseases?

I know this runs counter to the conventional wisdom that everything is bigger and better these days, and that there's more of it. But face it, the majority of our 'improved' health care really comes down to the single big shining success of allopathic medicine - trauma care. There's no disputing you have a much greater chance of surviving a traumatic injury now than you would have even 20 years ago. But much of what passes for improved 'modern' medicine is simply the application of trauma care to everything. How do most doctors and hospitals treat a cold (assuming they don't try to pump you full of antibiotics - a practice roundly condemned by both the AMA and the Centers for Disease Control as it creates so-called super-germs)? They send you home with a recommendation for bed rest, plenty of liquids, some vitamin C and chicken soup. Not too different from what Grandma used to do, eh? And for the really nasty diseases, like plague? The usual course of treatment is to simply try and prevent you from dying, and let your body do the healing. And if your body isn't up to the task? Simple - you die. Even if you're in the biggest and best hospital in the world, if your body won't do the healing, you die. If you don't believe me, break out some of the articles on the people who died during the recent anthrax scare. The ones who made it to the hospital were given the best of everything... and in spite of all their knowledge and effort, the doctors would usually come out in a few days and say there wasn't anything they could do because the anthrax had made it to the lungs.

Ok, you say, why would my body, nourished by the fruits of the 'Green Revolution' and the best diet in history, just give up? Glad you asked that, because do I have some information for you. The 'Green Revolution' is pretty much a fake, the agricultural equivalent of puffed wheat. If you go back to 1880, the protein content of Kansas wheat was 24%. By 1950 (generally considered the start of the 'Green Revolution') it had dropped to an average of 18% (a 25% loss). Right now it's running between 7% and 13% (a 50% to 75% loss over a 120 year timespan). This is directly attributable to two things: 1) the overuse of the land (i.e. the failure to practice the land sabbaths and other land stewardship laws) and 2) the use of hybrid or genetically modified seed. Look to Leviticus 19:19 and Leviticus 25 for more information on this. And, don't just take my word on it... listen to what Acres USA has to say on the matter: "Some of the successes that have attended corn production may have been the result of distorted accounting procedures. In terms of nutrients, open pollinated still has an enviable record. Adolph Steinbronn of Fairbanks, Iowa put the matter in perspective by having samples of corn tested for ingredients usually added to commercial feeds... Compared to some 4,000 samples of [hybrid] corn tested in ten Midwest states in a single year, Steinbronn's OP corn contained 75% more crude protein, 875% more copper, 345% more iron and 205% more manganese. The same trend has also been seen in the content of calcium, sodium, magnesium and zinc... In the opinion of many eco-farmers, hybrid corn merely masks poor farming by producing bins and bushels without the nutrients that are really corn's reason for being." (An Acres USA Primer by Charles Walters, Jr. and C.J. Fenzau). Every commercial food crop in this country has a similar nutritional deficiency. As for us eating the 'best' diet in history, I might ask why, if it's so good, that the government, doctors, etc. are trying to get us to change our eating habits because we suffer from so many diet related diseases like heart attacks? Everywhere you look you run into the same Catch-22: are they lying about the American diet being the best, or are they lying about the risks inherent from eating that diet? Well, if you look at the statistics of men who suffer from heart attacks, the monthly reports on the newest food not to eat, the increasing number of incidents involving hospitalization, even death, from tainted food, I'd say the answer is pretty obvious.

While you can't completely escape the damage done by this diet (after all, you've been eating it your entire life) and the American lifestyle, you can prevent the damage from getting any worse. "How?", you ask. Well, for starters, the Mosaic Law contains a detailed listing of not just dietary laws, but health laws in general. Who Is George Gordon?

George Gordon is the nation's foremost teacher of pro se courtroom strategy and procedure, a pioneer who taught himself the ins and outs of defending himself in court when Big Brother put him out of business. He is an author, lecturer, father and former corporate president. In 1979, he created Barrister's Inn in Boise, Idaho to teach civil law and courtroom strategy and procedure. In 1985, he moved to Isabella, Missouri, and created George Gordon's School of Law, which has been a leader in teaching individuals to successfully represent themselves in the civil court system.
George's experience over the years includes six cases of his that have gone to the U.S. Supreme Court and numerous others that have gone the distance in various state or federal courts. These have ranged from custody cases involving grandparents' rights, through Title 42 suits over civil rights violations by local or state authorities (one of which was even settled in gold), to cases on personal status. Some have even affected national courtroom procedure such as Gordon v. Idaho, 778 F2d 1397, in which the Federal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that an individual no longer has to take an oath or affirmation in court, if his reason for not taking it is based on the fact that the Bible (which they so kindly provide for you to swear on) says that you shouldn't swear oaths. If you add in the cases where students of his were parties to the action, the number goes into the hundreds, if not the thousands. Many questions as to an individual's status and his relationship with various governmental bodies have first been answered in cases involving George or his students.
In addition to teaching pro se litigation, George is also one of the nation's few teachers of the Mosaic Law. In fact, he is one of the only people in the United States, if not the world, to practice this Law in its entirety. This adherence to a Law and its attendant moral code (which was not done away with, no matter what is being taught in the churches out there) has made George a target of, yet virtually untouched by, both governmental and religious groups--something few people can claim.
George is a subsistence farmer using organic methods to practice land stewardship pursuant to the Scriptural land laws. He and his family are living peacefully in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri and are doing so without any Social Security Numbers, marriage licenses, business permits, insurance, innoculations, bank loans, credit cards, public school, government inspections, in fact, without any government intrusion into their lives. He observes the Mosaic Law and does not advocate, nor teach, anarchy, civil disobedience, or racism.
While he has successfully used common law pleadings in both state and federal courts, he is not now, nor has he ever been, associated with the erroneous 'common law courts' that have been springing up over the past few years, nor with such groups as the Montana Freemen or the 'Republic of Texas.' He is an individual and, as such, belongs to no groups. Also, contrary to what has been reported, he is not in hiding, he is not in prison (in fact, he has never been in prison, particularly not over taxes; his only confrontation with the IRS resulted in a win), and (to paraphrase Mark Twain) the reports of his death are greatly exaggerated. He is alive, doing well, and teaching classes in Isabella, Missouri.

What is George Gordon's School of Law?

George Gordon's School of Law is a private, pre-arranged, invitation-only school located in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks. This school has a number of classes that are aimed at one or both of the two goals of the school: enabling someone to competently represent him/herself in the civil court system, and teaching individuals the theory and practice of the Mosaic Law found in the Scriptures. George has not sought, nor would he accept, government accreditation or funding for this school; in fact, he has turned down offers of accreditation so that he can continue to teach things in his own fashion without government interference, as an individual.

George, oftimes called the 'Godfather of the Common Law' by the media, has been teaching people over twenty years now, sixteen of them in Isabella, Missouri. He has had literally thousands of people come to a town so small that it doesn't show up on many maps. And you ask, "Why?" The reason is that his students succeed. Of those who have gone through his classes, for example, only a few (less than twenty that we know of) have lost tax cases that they've been involved in, and those few either came to class after a grand jury had handed down an indictment and/or ignored what George taught them and hired a lawyer instead. This is an unprecedented record, especially when one considers that law is essentially a zero-sum game where you have to have a loser for every winner. And remember, prosecutors usually don't file charges until they're pretty sure they can win, so the percentage of cases, especially tax cases, won by the government is extremely high, over 90% in many courts. We admit that in most of these cases you can't find them by name or case number because we consider a win in tax court (for example) to consist of meeting 3 goals: (1) avoiding jail; (2) retaining use of your assets; and (3) solving the problem of harassment from then on through a change in status, not rebellion. George's students are over 90% successful in attaining those three goals in tax cases. Not too bad when you consider that lawyers, either criminal or civil, lose about 94% of their cases. Even pro se litigants, on the average, don't do too much better, losing about 84% of their cases. But, a national legal publication noted that trained pro se litigants average a 90% win rate.

George keeps class sizes low (about 6 students) to allow each student time for individual attention. We believe in quality, not quantity. Also, since no two people come from the same background, have the same problems, or wish to obtain the same goals, we've found that individual attention is not merely good, it's essential for success.

There are 'George Gordon wanna-bes' out there, duplicating George's material, but the classroom portion, i.e. the attention paid to each and every student, is missing from their attempts to copy George; often we find the entire point of doing something is missing, with people being told "Just do it, because that's what you have to do. You don't have to understand why." We've found that if you want to be successful, you do what successful people do and understand why they do it. If you want to be a winner like George, you have to do what he does, not just a little here and a little there. It may be hard, but it works. The wanna-be's tend to leave out both the explanations and the hard parts, either because they don't understand it or they've decided that it's more marketable if it's easier.

The Levitical Priesthood of Tennessee

A preacher approached me in Swanee, Tennessee some years ago and asked me if it was true that I practiced the Law of Moses. I replied that it was true. His next question was if I practiced the sacrificial laws. Perceiving his craftiness by asking this forked question, I asked him if he practiced the Levitical Priesthood in Tennessee. He emphatically denied that he did any such thing, and proceeded to preach me a true fire and brimstone sermon about Christ Crucified and how Jesus did away with the Law of Moses in general, and the sacrificial laws in particular.

Seeing that the man was a Christian in distress over doctrine, I apologized for my outrageous suggestion that HE, of all people, might be a practicioner of the sacrificial system of Tennessee, explaining that I was a stranger from a far, far land called Missouri, and that I had heard the people of Tennessee practiced the Levitical Priesthood, complete with sacrifices and heave offerings, but they called it another name, the 'Judicial System.' As he stared at me for a few minutes, like I'd just announced that I'd taken a ride in a UFO, I asked if they had a Highway Patrol in Tennessee. He said they did, and after a few more questions, it came out that they also had police, lawyers, judges, courts, courthouses, courtrooms complete with bars and benches and, even, fines for criminal activities; the sum total of which constituted the judicial system of the State of Tennessee. Looking at him, I said that the stories I'd heard were true, that the people of Tennessee were indeed a religious lot, which lead him to ask how having police and all the rest was religious. So I told him a story.

Let's say that one day you decide to take a drive, and an ever vigilant policeman sees you tooling along at 80 MPH in a 55 MPH zone, so he takes off after you, and pulls you over. Asking for your driver's license, he notes that it doesn't give you permission to drive 80 MPH in a 55 MPH zone, so he arrests you and hauls you off to the nearest jail. From there, you're brought to the courthouse and into a courtroom, where you face a judge sitting on a bench behind a bar. You're stood beside your lawyer, who enters a plea of guilty, which makes you a criminal. The judge levies a fine and court costs. If you don't like the decision, you can appeal, if necessary all the way to the Supreme Court. So what you have are the civil servants of the State of Tennessee performing their jobs, which constitute the judicial system of the State of Tennessee.

In olden days, this system wasn't called the judicial system, it was called the Levtical Priesthood, and it worked the same way.

Today's policeman was known as the High Priest's servant. As such, he was constantly on the lookout for sin, which is the transgression of the Law (1John 3:4). When he uncovered a sin, he hauled the sinner off to the temple ward, which is today's courthouse/jail combination. Modern courthouses are designed like temples, even to the point of sitting in the town square, so that everything in town revolves around them. The temple is where the High Priest conducted the sacrifices in the Holy Place. It was easy to recognize the High Priest going about his duties because of his long, flowing, often black, robes. When he had to sit in judgement on a sinner, he would go to the Holy Place and go behind the altar, which was behind the veil to the Holy Place. Sound anything like a judge entering a courtroom, and sitting on his bench, which is behind the bar? In order for a sinner to pass through the veil and approach the High Priest required an intercessor, who helped in your prayer to the High Priest concerning your sin. Sound like a lawyer entering a plea? When the accused admitted his guilt, he became a sinner. The High Priest then commanded him to perform penance, oftimes in the form of sacrifices, which he called a sin offering. He would also impose a heave offering, to reimburse him for his time. Sounds more and more like a modern court, with you entering a plea of guilty, and having fines and court costs levied. If the sinner thought the High Priest was not acting properly, he could go before the Aaronic Priesthood, if necessary all the way to Moses, which is essentially the same as going through the court of appeals to the Supreme Court. So, what you had were the Levites of Israel performing their jobs which constituted the Levitical Priesthood of Israel. What's the phrase, 'a rose by any other name...?'

So, I closed by chiding this Christian preacher a little, reminding him that he practices the sacrificial system of the State of Tennessee every time he goes into court. Remember, Tennessee is a sovereign, sovereigns make laws, lawmakers are gods, violating laws is sin, sins require sacrifice as a matter of law, either Civil or Common, and people who practice the religion of the United States make sacrifices to their god, voluntarily or involuntarily.

Are You a Practicing Communist?

I guess I should start at the beginning, which was at a meeting of the Idaho patriots in March of 1979. That meeting, held in the Mardi Gras Restaurant with Steve Gibson as the featured speaker, changed my life forever. 'So,' you ask with baited breath, 'What wonderful insight did he impart? What mystic knowledge did he pass on?' None really... all he did was look us straight in the face and call us all, each and every one of us, practicing communists. Some people would have called those fighting words, and I admit I wasn't too happy to be called one being the red-blooded American taxpaying pillar of the Boise business community that I was. Shoot, I'd even voted a straight Republican ticket and was a paid-up member of every major business organization in Boise. To say I disagreed with his assessment would be mild. Yet, his statement haunted me when I went to work the next day. Finally, just before noon, I called in my secretary and asked her to drop by the public library on her lunch break and pick me up a copy of the Communist Manifesto. After lunch, she dropped off the copy, and I started reading. Over the next several weeks, as time and my schedule allowed, I researched it, the Scriptures and, even, acts of Congress, to see if there were a basis in law or fact for what Steve said. There was, and here's my report.

In 1848, Carl Marx, at the age of 30, entered a competition sponsored by the International Socialist Union of Paris, France. His submission was the 10 Planks of the Communist Manifesto, which won. The rest, as they say, is history.

The First Plank is relatively simple: Abolition of property in land, and application of all rents of land to public purposes. Let's see what we have in America today. In Idaho alone, 64% of the state is public land, held 'in trust' by either the state or the federal government. If you or I want to use that land, we have to go to the appropriate agency and rent it or pay royalties on anything we remove from it or pay 'use fees' if all we want to do is go camping. This money goes into the agency's treasury and from there to the state or federal treasury. In addition to the rental of public lands, there are taxes on private property. Using Idaho as our example, if 64% is 'public' land, then 36% must be 'private' land, right? Wrong! The state levies a property tax on such 'private' land, and if you don't pay, orders a tax sale to get its money from you one way or the other. If you don't pay, you lose the land. Sound like all the term 'property owner' means is 'property renter'? The conclusion is clear: We've lost our right to property in land in allodial freehold, and have been reduced to nothing more than feudal serfs, living on the king's land and paying our land use fees in the form of taxes. We'd come full circle from the Plantation of Rhode Island in 1776 to the Plantation of Idaho in 1979.

And, if you ask, 'How should things be?' let me quote from Scripture, where in Leviticus 25:23 it says: 'The land shall not be sold forever for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.' Quite a difference from the BLM, the EPA, the DNR and such things as 'eminent domain.'

Moving on to the Second Plank, we read: A heavy progressive, or graduated, income tax. Talk about simple to figure out. Just ask your neighbor if there's an income tax. The Federal government and all but 5 (at last count) state governments impose some form of income tax. I rest my case.

Going to Scripture again, we have Malichi 3:8-12, which reads: 'Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes unto the storehouse that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. And all nations shall call you blessed for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.' Talk about a difference from filling out a Form 1040 according to the IRS Code.

The Third Plank is also a fairly short one: Abolition of all right of inheritance. Yet, most people will say, 'Oh, that's not in force. I know because my Aunt Matilda just died and left me some money.' My question is: How much did she leave you, and how much did she leave the State? The reason the State gets into the picture is almost always the result of a marriage license. When you sign that short little form, you've entered into a 3 party limited general partnership with you, your spouse and the State as equal partners. Over the life of the contract, the two active parties (husband and wife) work, create and produce things, such as money, children, property of all kinds, etc. Then one day, your spouse dies and, after you bury them, you sit down to see what you have. Around this time, someone from the State knocks on the door saying there's a small matter of inheritance tax. What they're really saying is: I'm still a partner, the partnership hasn't been dissolved, I want out, so buy me out. The State figures that it's paid for the kids' education, school lunches, AFDC, etc. etc. etc. so they've done their part in making the partnership work. All they want is their third. Which, when you look at most inheritance taxes, means you pay from 28% to 35% of the estate to Uncle Sam, or his duly appointed representative.

Again, looking at how this should be, we read in Deuteronomy 21:15-17: 'If a man have two wives, one beloved and another hated, and they have borne him children, both the beloved and the hated and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn. But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his.' Nothing about estate taxes, probate court, etc.

Going to the Fourth Plank, we read: Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels. Need time to think about that? While you are, think about Waco, Ruby Ridge, the Montana Freemen... well, you get the idea. This is called, in legalese, 'municipal police power' and means that if you get hostile and belligerent to the government, they can take everything away from you under the guise of IRS liens, tax levies, seizures, fines, and anything else they can think of... And, if you're still mad, and complaining? Then they get to throw you in jail.

How does Scripture deal with rebels and such? Read Leviticus 26:4-6: 'But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; and if you shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgements, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant, I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.' At least God doesn't mess around when you screw up, he takes it all... your life and your toys.

Looking at the Fifth Plank, we read: Centralization of credit in the hands of the State by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly. Ever hear of the Federal Reserve system. That's not real money floating around out there. Read what it says at the top: Federal Reserve NOTE! As in promissory note. There's precious little 'real' money left out there. It might not be too much longer before we move beyond that and straight into electronic money, completely controlled by the banks, who ultimately answer to the Fed. We're on our way with things like credit cards, checking cards, debit cards, direct deposit, etc. Looks like #5 has been in effect since around 1913.

And what does Scripture say? Read Deuteronomy 25:13-16: 'Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small. Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a great and a small. But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have, that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the Lord thy God.' Speaks pretty plainly, doesn't it?

Going to the Sixth Plank, we find: Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State. Let's see, we have driver's licenses, vehicle registration, vehicle licensing, and that's just 'private' transportation. If you look at 'public' transportation like planes, trains and buses, do you have any doubt that if the government says 'Jump' they don't ask 'How high?' And let's not even think about communications. The Internet community is just the latest to get hit with the heavy hand of government regulation. People who wouldn't normally even acknowledge each other's existence are on the same side, fighting to retain freedom of expression on the Net. TV, radio, cable, newspapers - they all bow to the mighty FCC. And Executive Orders #10995 and #10999 are just waiting to be signed, giving the government open and direct control over transportation and the media.

And what does Scripture say about traveling? Let's look at Exodus 16:29: 'See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.' Apparently, so long as you don't travel on the Sabbath, God doesn't see much of a need to regulate or control such things.

Now, the Seventh Plank is a bit more complex: Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan. Let's examine this one item by item. Now about the extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State. Most people would go, 'Oh, you mean like those big Russian factories. We don't have that here. We have GM, Ford, US Steel. They're all privately owned.' Or are they? Each and every factory in the US operates and exists on the sufferance of the government, which licenses and regulates their existence and activities in return for a portion of the proceeds (called taxes). I think that qualifies as ownership. And we've certainly expanded the number of factories and corporations in the US over the past 150 years. As to the bringing into cultivation of wastelands, how many of you have seen the dams on the Colorado River, just to name one river? While they do produce electricity, ask any rancher or farmer out there what their main purpose is, and he'll tell you: water for irrigation. In that part of the west it's: No water, no farms. So, they've done that part too. As for the improvement of the soil generally, in accordance with a common plan, how many of you have ever heard of the ASC (Agricultural Stabilization Center)? Any rural county has one of their offices; their job is to hand out government information, funds and materials to help with the general improvement of the American farm. And how many farmers have taken part in government programs ranging from paid non-cultivation of land to low-interest loans for 'general land improvement' (provided you do it their way, of course)? I think we can consider that covered as well.

And Scripture? Look at Leviticus 25:8-24 to see how God handles this: 'And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed. For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field. In the year of this jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession. And if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest ought of thy neighbour's hand, ye shall not oppress one another: According to the number of years after the jubilee thou shalt buy of thy neighbour, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee: According to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish the price of it: for according to the number of the years of the fruits doth he sell unto thee. Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the LORD your God. Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety. And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety. And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase: Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years. And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store. The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me. And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.' Looks like God has a very specific plan to keep things going, and not let the land be depleted.

The Eighth Plank reads: Equal liability of all to labor, establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture. How many listened to President Clinton at that Volunteer Summit? Especially when he said that to be a good citizen you had to get a job and pay taxes? How about last year's 'workfare' bill, where to get money from the government, you have to work? I'm not saying the idea of working is wrong, but the government is implementing it so that you have to work on their terms such as by having insurance, a SSN, filling out a 1040 each April. And those industrial armies? Go back to the 1930s and look at things like the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) and the WPA (Works Project Administration). How about today's Americorps?

How about Scripture? In Deuteronomy 24:14-15, we read: 'Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates; at his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it; lest he cry against thee unto the Lord, and it be sin unto thee.' Let's see... simple, straightforward, and no hidden catches to make sure that he's really a slave, with no say and no rights.

The Ninth Plank is one of the most ambitious: Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country by a more equitable distribution of population over the country. This needs to be handled in two parts. The first is relatively simple. Ever hear of Archer Daniel Midland? Visited a major dairy or meat outfit recently? Between the multinational agri-conglomerates and the 'factory' farms you see, that part's been done for decades now. the second half is a little more difficult to see. While you may think that it's not been implemented, because there are still cities and still rural areas, let's look again. In 1920, the US population was about 100 million and the number of people living on farms was about 44 million, so nearly half the population was on a farm or in some other rural setting. By 1940, the population on farms had dropped to 32 million. In 1950, 15 million. 1970, 6 million. 1985, 3 million. And the estimate is that by 2000 there will be roughly 100,000 farmers or agribusiness corporations producing all agricultural products in the US. And cities have also taken a hit in terms of the overall population. While some cities have grown, like LA, others like Chicago, St. Louis, Dallas, etc. have actually lost population over the past 40 years. The result: the ubiquitous suburbs, neither urban nor rural but, originally, a blend of both. This is the result of the largest population migration since the Middle Ages. So, the Ninth Plank is firmly in operation today.


And what does God say on this? In Leviticus 25:1-7, we read: 'And the LORD spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD. Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard. That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land. And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee, And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.' Pretty simple. No talk of anything but good stewardship and obeying the Law.


At last we reach the tenth Plank: Free Education for all children in public schools; abolition of children's factory labor in its present form; combination of education with industrial production. Did you attend public school? How about your kids? What most people don't realize is that even so-called 'private' schools, and their curriculum, are government controlled these days. Any school that accepts government funding has to abide by government strictures. The first public schools were founded in the 1830s and, as late at the WWI, they weren't too common outside the big cities. Now, they're everywhere, and non-public school education is the fast-fading exception to the rule. As for the abolition of children's factory labor in its present form, the government took care of that before WWI. They just shipped the concept of child factory labor overseas. And combining education with industrial production? Well, the US is thinking of following the Japanese and Germans, where you take a test designed to see what your potential is and, if you don't score high enough, they ship you to the nearest factory for a nice apprentice education. Model programs have already been set up in some big cities. Looks like this one's been around for a while too.

And Scripture? Read Deuteronomy 4:9-10: 'Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life, but teach them thy sons, and thy son's sons; specially the day that thou stoodest before the Lord thy God in Horeb, when the Lord said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.' Sounds like a simple plan for home schooling, not cramming thirty kids into an overcrowded room with one frazzled babysitter, who has to make sure she follows the government mandated truth of the week.

Now take a simple test. For each one of the 10 Planks that you participate in, or are subject to the effects of, give yourself 10 points. Most people won't give themselves 100 points, but I'd bet that you have at least 50 on your list. If you get any points, you're a practicing communist. The Antichrist is generally depicted as a militant atheist who brazenly opposes Christianity. Communism has been called an antichrist system because of its overt suppression of Christianity. It is not surprising, then, that when they were finally able to speak their minds, the Romanian people who suffered under him for 24 years called their deposed

 President, Nicholae Ceausescu, "the Antichrist." That is why they chose Christmas as the day most fitting to execute him and his wife Elena before a firing squad, having found them guilty of murdering at least 60,000 Romanians and of robbing the Romanian people of more than $1 billion.

Of course Ceausescu was not the Antichrist. His opposition to Christ and His gospel was much too obvious. Though it may mean "against," in Greek the prefix anti also means "a substitute for" or "in the place of." This is, in fact, the way in which the Bible presents the Antichrist. Rather than rejecting Christ, he will pretend to be Christ and thus will pervert rather than openly oppose Christianity. He will be a "false Christ" (Mt 24:24, etc.), offering a "Counterfeit" a false and “positive" Christianity acceptable to all.

Hitler was a good potential Antichrist (he was the person referred to in Revelation 13). His opposition to God, plain enough now, deceived many at first. While deliberately out to destroy Christianity and replace it with his neopagan occultism (and Satanism), Hitler pretended that he was the champion of real Christianity. And in many ways his pretence was convincing, for Hitler officially opposed

 Homosexuality, immorality, and occultism (though he was involved in occultism/immorality) (and Satanism).

He claimed to be God's representative to establish His kingdom upon earth, and regularly invoked the name and blessing of God in his speeches. For example:

1940: "We pray our Lord that He would continue to bless us in our battle for freedom....

1941: "We believe we shall earn the blessing of the Supreme Leader...the Lord God has given His approval to our battle. He will be with us...in the future.

1942: "And we will pray the Lord God for that, the salvation of the nation....

1943: "Our Lord God...will help us as He always has....

And his 1,000 year Reich/reign, claiming to be Christ – JAH.

Could any real Christians have been deceived? Did some go along with Hitler to save their own skins? The following from a speech by Dr.Hans Kerrl, Nazi Minister of Church Affairs, is probably representative of the deception under the Antichrist's world religion. It reveals how blatant the lie can become while still being eagerly embraced in the name of "positive Christianity":

The Party stands [for]...Positive Christianity, and Positive Christianity is National Socialism... National Socialism is the doing of God’s will...God's will reveals itself in German blood....That Christianity consists in faith in Christ as Son of God makes me laugh....

No, Christianity is not dependent upon the Apostles' Creed...True Christianity is represented by the Party, and the German people are now called by the Party and especially by the Fuehrer to a real Christianity. ...

The Fuehrer is the herald of a New Revelation.

Thousands of German pastors joined the newly organized "German Christians’ Faith Movement," which supported Nazi doctrines and promoted the concept of a

"Reich Church" that would unite all Protestants under the state. A minority of pastors, led by Martin Niemoeller, who had  originally welcomed Hitler to power, realized at last that Hitler’s “positive Christianity" was in fact anti-Christian, and so opposed the nazification of the church. The vast majority of both Catholics and Protestants and their leaders, however, enthusiastically welcomed Hitler’s takeover of their country and obeyed his orders without apparent protest or twinge of conscience.

The "Reich Church," formed under leaders picked by Hitler, was formally recognized by the Reichstag on July 14, 1933. On November 13, a massive rally was held in the Berlin Sportpalast by the "German Christians’ Faith Movement." Leaders of the rally proposed abandonment of the Old  Testament (not so far from today's rejection) and revision of  the New Testament to fit National Socialism. Resolutions called for "One People, One Reich, One Faith" and an oath of allegiance to Hitler to be signed by all pastors. Though Christians had never expected developments to reach this stage, most were too happy over the prosperity and the new social stability to be concerned about Nazi control of the church.  Protesters were dealt with harshly by the Gestapo, whose reign of terror against true Christians began with the arrest of 700 pastors in the fall of 1935.

Amazingly, it was all done in the name of "freedom of religion" and for “unity" especially unity. That will be the cry of the deceivers in our day. Ecumenism is so appealing, yet will eventually produce an apostate church for the Antichrist. Make no mistake: What happened in Germany will happen again but with far greater deception. In fact, one can discern its beginnings now.

Today increasing numbers of "Third Wave Prophets" are bringing a flood of "new revelations." This "Latter Rain" movement is growing with astonishing speed in association with the Vineyards and Kansas City Fellowship under the influence of "prophets" such as John Wimber, Paul  Cain (former associate of William Branham), Rick Joyner, Mike Bickle and  others. Increasing numbers of churches are "submitting" themselves to these "prophets" in what appears to be a rapidly growing new discipleship movement based upon "signs and wonders" which is bringing dangerous heresies into the church in the name of holiness and unity.

"Positive Christianity" has been growing in popularity in America and is already being exported by Western church leaders into Eastern Europe.  Those who promote positive/possibility thinking and positive confession  are among the most influential television preachers and church leaders  in the West. Any suggestion that a teaching is not biblical is rejected as "negative" and destructive of the unity that must be achieved at all cost, not only between Protestants and Catholics but among all religions.

A vast ecumenical movement has been quietly gathering irresistible momentum for years. Its roots go back to the 1893 Parliament of Religions in Chicago. Swami Vivekananda, who stole the show, later founded Vedanta temples across the Western world. A new vision of religious unity spawned such organizations as The Temple of Understanding (founded in 1960 to unite all world religions) in which secular leaders such as John D. Rockefeller and popes such as Paul VI  and John XXIII played a role. It has been meeting for years at New York’s Cathedral of St. John the Divine (Episcopalian). Similar ecumenical groups also connected with the UN Meditation Room include Wainwright House of Rye, NY, involved in Jungian spiritual psychology and with more impact upon mainstream churches. Periodic "Spiritual  Summits" of world religions are held, as at St. John's in October 1975.

 It included a Shinto worship ceremony performed at the cathedral's  "Christian" altar and culminated in addresses at the United Nations by  representatives of five major faiths.1 Mother Teresa was a keynote speaker.2

A growing partnership between government and religion is preparing the  world for its coming political/religious leader, the Antichrist. The motivation is good: peace and environmental protection, around which all religions can unite. EPA chief William K. Reilly, who calls himself a  "pure Irish Catholic," has proposed a new "spiritual vision" of  conservation. "Spiritual" and "ecumenical" is the new emphasis. In October 1988, a typical gathering of environmentalists from all over North America in the Santa Cruz, California redwoods "opened with a prayer by Native Americans, thanking Grandfather God 'for all the good  things you have put on Mother Earth.'" A "Baptist minister—an ecumenical peace activist"—was one speaker. The meeting "closed with a  community-building, earth-celebrating 'spiral dance' ritual led by  well-known writer, activist, and feminist 'witch,' Starhawk," long  associated with Catholic priest Matthew Fox at his Holy Names College in  Oakland, California.3

A Global Survival Conference held in Oxford, England in 1988 brought  together "spiritual and parliamentary leaders." A second one was held in January 1990, in Moscow. The highly religious United Nations University  for Peace sponsored in Costa Rica in 1989 a Global Gathering for Peace  as a follow-up on the Pope's World Day of Prayer for Peace held in  Assisi, Italy in 1986.  Assistant Secretary General and Chancellor of the University for Peace, and a Catholic, called the uniting of Europe set for 1992 "a step towards a world community... a harbinger of hope." He explained:

"We need a world or cosmic spirituality. ...I hope that religious leaders will get together and define...the cosmic laws which are common to all their faiths!!!!!!!!....They should tell the politicians what the cosmic laws are, what God, or the gods, or the cosmos are expecting from humans....We must also hope that the Pope will come before the year 2000 to the United Nations, speak for all the religions and spiritualties on this planet and give the world the religious view of how the third millennium should be a spiritual millennium.. ..4 http://www.jahtruth.net/darth.htm

As for the EEC, an official poster depicts Europe as a growing Tower of Babel! At Babel, God scattered mankind and confounded their language in order to stifle the ingenuity that was determined to assault he throne of God by building a "tower that would reach to heaven." The new hope of  the world is for "unification" and a single global tongue—undoing what  God did at Babel and pushing the rebellion to its final stage and  ushering in the reign of Antichrist. The "stars" depicting the 12 EEC  nations on the poster are upside-down pentagrams, symbols of the Goat of Mendes, or Satan.

Both the Pope and Gorbachev are pushing the idea of a "united Europe from the Atlantic to the Urals." Gorbachev justifies his view by saying that Russians are Europeans, too, because of their "Christian heritage” dating back 1,000 years to the "conversion" of Czar Vladimir. Staggering stuff from the head of world communism, which has tried to destroy Christianity for 70 years! Eastern Europe is in the process of being united with Western Europe—unthinkable a few months ago. We are seeing the prophesied revival of the Roman Empire, which included much of Eastern Europe. Time just changed its spelling from Rumania to Romania in response to complaints by its many citizens pointing out its Roman heritage. Apostasy is taking over our churches and seminaries. Typical is the report that Denver's Conservative Baptist Seminary is influenced by Catholic Charismatic Renewal and Richard Foster and is now advocating Eastern meditation, including TM, Zen and yoga through its theology

 department. Many church leaders who have been accepted as evangelicals are becoming bolder and more blatant in their ecumenism. One of the key figures is Robert Schuller, who has proudly said, "...what sets me apart from fundamentalists [is that they] are trying to convert everybody to believe how they believe....We know the things the major faiths can agree on. We try to focus on those without offending those with different viewpoints.. ."5 Schuller's connections include Soviet  sycophant Armand Hammer, the cult of Unity, Amway, media magnate Rupert  Murdoch (who's financing Schuller TV in Europe), Napoleon Hill's  associate W. Clement Stone (like Norman Vincent Peale, Schuller's  mentor, a 33rd-degree Mason), who put up the funds to send out more than  250,000 copies of Self-Esteem: The New Reformation to pastors and  seminary professors, and finally, A Course in Miracles promoter Gerald  Jampolsky.

There is a rat's nest of interconnected groups working for a new world religion and pushing globalism and religious instruction in schools here and in cooperation with the Soviets. The trail passes through the board rooms of such giants as The Carnegie Corporation and Amway, and foundations such as Religious Heritage of America, Council for the Advancement of Citizenship and Centre for Citizenship Education... and ultimately leads back to Os Guinness's Williamsburg Charter and its dangerous religious curriculum for public schools mentioned in our January publication.

Another link between all of the above is the ecological concern that has spawned various environmentalist groups, some of which worship Mother Earth as a living organism known as Gaia. Greenpeace addresses valid concerns. It is, however, an attempt to bring peace on earth without

 submission to the Prince of Peace.

God put rebellious Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden and guarded the Tree of Life with the flaming sword of His holy judgment upon sin.  Christ took that sword in His heart for us and became "The Way" to life.  In fact, He is "the Life." Environmentalist movements, for all the good they represent, are attempts to restore man to paradise without coming under that sword through Christ. It is the Cross that is compromised by ecumenism. Let us stand true to God and His Word in thought, word and deed. He is coming soon!

SUMMARY

In both German churches there were members, including clergy and leading theologians, who openly supported the Nazi regime. With time, anti-Nazi sentiment grew in both Protestant and Catholic Church circles, as the Nazi regime exerted greater pressure on them. In turn, the Nazi regime saw a potential for dissent in church criticism of state measures. When a protest statement was read from the pulpits of Confessing churches in March 1935, for example, Nazi authorities reacted forcefully by briefly arresting over 700 pastors. After the 1937 papal encyclical Mit brennender Sorge ("With burning concern") was read from Catholic pulpits, the Gestapo confiscated copies from diocesan offices throughout the country.

The general tactic by the leadership of both Protestant and Catholic churches in Germany was caution with respect to protest and compromise with the Nazi state leadership where possible. There was criticism within both churches of Nazi racialized ideology and notions of "Aryanism," and movements emerged in both churches to defend church members who were considered "non-Aryan" under Nazi racial laws (e.g., Jews who had converted). Yet throughout this period there was virtually no public opposition to antisemitism or any readiness by church leaders to publicly oppose the regime on the issues of antisemitism and state-sanctioned violence against the Jews. There were individual Catholics and Protestants who spoke out on behalf of Jews, and small groups within both churches that became involved in rescue and resistance activities (for example, the White Rose and Herman Maas).

After 1945, the silence of the church leadership and the widespread complicity of "ordinary Christians" compelled leaders of both churches to address issues of guilt and complicity during the Holocaust—a process that continues internationally to this day.
