What Hell is like: The Party in Hell?
Matthew 8:12, 22:13, 24:51, 25:30, 13:28 there is darkness, weeping and gnashing of teeth.
IN HEAVEN IS; Revelation 21:23 and the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the Light thereof.
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
2 Samuel 22:6, Psalm 18:5 there are sorrows in hell
IN HEAVEN IS;
1 Thessalonians 4:13, But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
4:15 For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel (Michael), and with the trump of God: and the dead (to "Self") in Christ shall rise first:
4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the "Clouds", to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Qu’ran we find the similar passage, Sura 2,
2:110. And be steadfast in prayer and regular in charity: and whatever good ye send forth for your souls before you, ye shall find it with God: for God sees well all that ye do.
2:111. And they say: "None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian." Those are their (vain) desires. Say: "Produce your proof if ye are truthful."
2:112. Nay,- whoever submits his whole "self" to God and is a doer of good,- he will get his reward with his Lord; on such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
2:113. The Jews say: "The Christians have naught (to stand) upon"; and the Christians say: "The Jews have naught (to stand) upon." Yet they (profess to) study the (same) Book. Their words are like what those people who do not know say; but God will judge between them in their quarrel on the Day of Judgment.
2:62. those who believe (the Koran), and those who follow the Jewish (Scriptures), and the Christians and the Serbians, - any who believe God and in the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
Regardless of where the phrase came from, the oversimplification of grief and faith can undoubtedly cause pain to grievers and, hence, is worth a post.

James 3:6 "The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one's life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell." ... It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself."
How is the tongue like the rudder of a ship?
Words spoken by your tongue determine the direction of your life, just like the rudder of a ship determines the direction a ship will go. ... Your tongue has the power to steer the conversation to a win — a win for both parties or in the opposite direction.
James 3 :1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation (Matt. 23:8-10).
3:2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same [is] a perfect man, [and] able also to bridle the whole body.
3:3 Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and therewith we guide their whole body.
3:4 Behold also the ships, which though [they be] so great, and [are] driven by fierce winds, yet are they steered with a very small helm (rudder), wheresoever the governor listeth.
3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a disaster a little fire kindleth!
3:6 And the tongue [is] a fire, a world of inequity: like so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell (and Satan).
3:7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
3:8 But the tongue can no man tame; [it is] an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
3:9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude (in the image) of God.
3:10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought NOT so to be.
3:11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet [water] and bitter?
3:12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? or a vine, figs? so [can] no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
3:13 Who [is] a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good conversation his works with MEEKNESS from wisdom (the truly wise are meek and humble).
Isaiah 33:10-17 Hell is a devouring fire, and everlasting burnings
Hebrews 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a Kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear:
12:29 For our God [is] a consuming fire.

Psalm 16:10 The Lord’s soul was not left in hell. You ask why did he go there. He went there to take they keys of hell and of death from the devil

1:18). After he took the keys, Jesus went to “Abraham’s bosom” and said hey boys, I am the Lamb of God which took away the sin of the world. Are you ready to come to the Father’s house? Up from the grave he arose! With a mighty triumph o’er his foes! And after his resurrection, many bodies of the saints which slept arose and preached in Jerusalem and testified for 40 days and then ascended up with Jesus into heaven!

Jesus has the key of hell and of death! That means Jesus has the power of who dies and goes to hell! If you have trusted the Saviour, you don’t have to worry about going there!
What the Lord Jesus Christ said about Hell:
Matthew 5:22 There is fire in hell
Matthew 5:29 He said it is better that some part of your body to perish then for your whole body to be cast into hell. Now listen, if hell is only the grave, annihilation, or separation from God, why would Jesus say this. Don’t we all go to the grave no matter what we do? Obviously Jesus is not talking about the grave but something worse.
Matthew 10:28, Luke 12:5 He said to fear God who is able to destroy both body and soul in hell (Isaiah 10:16-18)
Matthew 11:23 Heaven is above, hell is beneath
Matthew 16:18 The gates of hell shall not prevail against the church
Matthew 18:8-9 There is fire in hell and last for ever
Matthew 23:15-33 He said the Pharisees and their converts were children of hell and said to them how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
Mark 9:43, 45 The fire is not quenched and the worm dies not in hell (Isaiah 66:22-24)
The Rich Man in Hell
Luke 16:19-31 You are tormented in the flames of hell, the rich man was able to see Abraham and Lazarus, you call for mercy in hell and don’t find it, you ask for only a drop of water (this gives you an idea how hot it is and unbearable), you cannot leave their and no one can come to you, even if they wanted to, you find yourself praying and hoping that your family members and loved ones are witnessed to, that they don’t come into this place of torment. What was the response from Abraham? They have Moses and the prophets: let them hear them. In other words, they have the Bible let them hear what God said to them in the book. Then he argues with Abraham (isn’t that silly?), and says if someone rose from the dead they would repent.
The response? If they don’t hear what the scriptures say (notice tradition, papal bulls – and that’s what they are, loaded with bull (!), church councils, and church decrees are not even mentioned!) (see also John 5:39-47) neither will they be persuaded,

ROSE FROM THE DEAD!
What are you going to do now? Are you going to warn people about hell? Are you going to tell them God made a way out for them through his Son Jesus Christ? Are you going to tell them to repent of their evil ways and come to Jesus before it’s too late?
Have you warned your unsaved family and friends about how they are already condemned for their unbelief in Jesus and are headed for hell fire?
They may not like you: that’s fine. But at least they cannot say you didn’t warn them. You may make many enemies, but at least they were warned.
Aren’t you glad someone warned you?
Jesus said in Matthew 25:41 that hell was prepared for the devil and his angels. He never intended for man to go to this horrible place. It was prepared for the devil.
The reason hell is so terrible is because God has removed His goodness or His attributes from Hell. You see, James 1:17 says, “Every good and perfect gift comes down from above from the Father of Lights.” So all the good we enjoy in life comes from God. It’s not automatic. What God did in the preparation of hell was He simply removed His goodness.
Hell is dark because 1 John 1:5 said God is light.
There’s only death in hell because John 1:4 said God is life.
There’s only hatred in hell because 1 John 4:16 said God is love.
There’s no mercy in hell because Psalms 36:5 says the mercy of the Lord is in the Heavens.
There’s no strength in hell because Psalms 18:32 said it’s the Lord that gives us strength.
There’s no water in hell because Deuteronomy 11:11 says water is the rain of Heaven.
There is no peace in hell because Isaiah 9:6 says He is the Prince of Peace.
So you see, if God removes His goodness or His attributes, all the good goes with Him. You can’t separate the two. You can’t have the good without God. So if a person says, “I don’t want anything to do with God,” then there is a place prepared that has nothing to do with Him.
Now the fire in Hell does represent God’s wrath. He pours out His wrath on sin. But God poured out His wrath on Jesus on the cross so that you and I wouldn’t have to take the wrath in hell.
If you choose to deny Jesus, then you have to take the punishment. It’s your choice. Before you accuse God falsely, you may want to read the Bible and find out just how loving a God He truly is. Revelation 21:8 says, “All unbelievers will have their part in the lake of fire.” If you say, “I don’t believe the Bible, then God had told us where all unbelievers will end up. Jesus said in Matthew 12:37 that our own words condemn us. We send ourselves to Hell by rejecting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and not repenting of our sins.
You may want to think about this now because one second after you die, it will be too late. You must choose now while you have the opportunity.

. . . I watched as one person came into the Earth dimension remembering all of His birth vision.
He knew He was here to bring a new awareness into the world, a new culture based on Love not on emotion. His message was this: The One God is a Holy Spirit, a Divine Energy, Whose existence could be felt and proven experientially. Coming into spiritual awareness means more than rituals and sacrifices and public prayer. It involves a repentance of a deeper kind; a repentance that is an inner psychological shift based on the suspension of the ego's ('Self's') addictions ('Self'-ish wants), and a transcendent "letting go", which would ensure the true fruits of the Spiritual Life.
As this message began to spread, I watched as one of the most influential of all empires, the Roman embraced and then transformed Christ's Teaching into a new religion, spreading their inaccurate interpretation of His Message throughout much of Europe.
At this point I saw again the appeals of the Gnostics, urging the church to focus more fully on the inner, transformative experience, using Christ's life as an example (Imam) of what each of us should strive to achieve (John 14:6*). I saw the church lapse into the Fear, its leaders sensing a loss of control, building false-doctrine around the powerful hierarchy of the churchmen, who falsely made themselves out to be the mediators or dispensers of the spirit to the populace. Eventually all texts related to Gnosticism were deemed by the clergymen to be blasphemous and excluded from the Bible...
The Gnostics were early followers of "The Way" (Christ) who believed that followers of The One God should not merely revere Christ, but strive to emulate him, in every thought, word and deed. They sought to describe this emulation in philosophical terms, as a method of practice. As the early Roman church formulated its canons, the Gnostics were eventually considered wilful heretics, opposed to turning their lives over to God as a matter of faith. To become a true believer, the early church leaders claimed, one had to forego understanding and analysis and be content to live life through divine revelation, adhering to God's Will moment by moment. The churchmen did this in order to sustain their control over the people. They wished to keep His True Teachings and overall plan from the public, so people would be deceived into thinking that they had to go to the churchmen to find God, rather than learning to look within and find the Divine within themselves as Christ's Message to the world had been.
Accusing the church hierarchy of tyranny, the Gnostics argued that their understandings and methods were intended to actually facilitate this act of "letting go to God's Will" that the church was requiring, rather than giving mere lip-service to the idea, as the churchmen were doing.
In the end the Gnostics lost, and were banished from all church functions and texts, their beliefs disappearing underground among the various secret sects and orders. Yet the dilemma was clear. As long as the church held out the vision of a transformative spiritual connection with the Divine, yet persecuted anyone who talked openly about the specifics of the experience - how one might actually attain such an awareness, what it felt like - then the "Kingdom Within" would remain merely an intellectualized concept within church doctrine, rather than reality within each person, and The Truth would be crushed anytime it surfaced. . .
* John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am The Way, the Truth, and the Life: NOT one man cometh unto the Father, EXCEPT by me.
