Once Saved Always Saved (OSAS) or Eternal 
Security is a false doctrine that teaches that a Christian cannot ever lose their salvation and end up in Hell, and that all born again Christians will go to Heaven no matter what. Scripture has much to say on the topic and its important that believers know how to rightly divide that truth on this issue.
Many struggle with this issue because of what they have been taught in churches and denominations, but believers must search out the scriptures for themselves. This page has scripture and teachings to correct this misleading doctrine and bring forth Biblical truth from the position that a born again Christian is saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ but can still be disqualified from making it to Heaven because of continued unrepentant sin and disobedience in their lives, and in the end go to Hell. If we sin, there is a place to repent, confess ours sin to be cleansed, but to continue on unrepentant is eternally very dangerous. Take Heed, consider what the full word of God warns and hold on to that most precious gift of salvation.
REPROVING THE FALSE DOCTRINE OF ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED
1.) If a Christian can’t lose their salvation, why did JESUS say these words to His Disciples:
— “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” (Matt 10,32-33) … Jesus clearly states an issue where his own disciples could be denied entry to heaven.
— “If you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” (Mark 11, 25-26) .… Us being forgiven of sins is also conditional on us forgiving others. If we won’t extend grace to others, Jesus stated that it then won’t be extended to us. If we are not forgiven we won’t enter heaven but enter Hell.
— “He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.” (Rev 3, 5) … Obviously the opposite is also true, those who don’t overcome will be blotted out from the Book of Life, otherwise the first promise makes no sense and has no purpose. This is written to the church, born again believers. They can overcome and pass, or fail and be blotted out.
— “For many are called, but few are chosen.” (Matt 22, 14) … Many of the many who were called didn’t make it, only few did.
— “I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. ” … “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Matt 5, 28 + Rev 21,7-8) … We are called to repent and overcome sin, not continue in it, otherwise we will continue following it all the way to Hell.
— “And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” (Matt 5, 29-30) ... He repeated His point to make sure we got it. The Lord requires radical repentance from sin and faithful obedience from His disciples. There is a cost to following Jesus, it is a narrow path.
— “because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth” (Rev 3,16) … This threat was given to a church. If it was to fake believers who weren’t actually born again, then His message would have been to get saved and get born again, but it was instead to repent. If you are vomited out of a body, you must first have been in that body. Their faith was toxic with carnality and worldliness, the Lord couldn’t stomach it. They had to repent or would be in great danger.
— “But if that evil SERVANT says in his heart, ‘MY MASTER is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matt 24, 48-51) … The Lord made clear that this person was not an outsider, but was His servant and belonged to Him and was accountable to Him. And Jesus made it clear that He saw him as a Hypocrite and that without repentance He was heading to hell.
— “Cast the unprofitable SERVANT into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’” (Matt 25, 30) ... Same point repeated to make sure we understand it.
— “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matt 7,21-23) … It is clear that these are born again believers and even ministers who prophesied, cast out demons, did mighty works and called Him Lord. They were not unsaved. These were clear signs they were saved and operating in His anointing and calling. He did not say they were works done of the devil, He didn’t dispute those works but rather included them to verify exactly who he was talking about – His people. The reason they were rejected was stated clearly, “you who practice lawlessness”, they had continued unrepentant in sin. The reason the Lord also said “I never knew you” is because they had denied Him by their deeds of lawlessness, “They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work. ” (Titus1,16) “If we deny Him, He also will deny us.”(1Tim2,12). thus He said, “I never knew you”.
Jesus also gives us great promises in John 10 of assurance of salvation which are CONDITIONAL upon hearing and following his voice/word. They are not unconditional or for the disobedient believer. He also said `no-one` can pluck them out of his hand, yes no-one, meaning; no person, no devil, BUT you can walk out of His hand by diverting down the broad road of destruction through continued disobedience as all the above scriptures and many other testify. They were all directed at his disciples not at worldly people.
General promises of salvation such as John 3,16 need to be seen in this light. Bible `Believing` is a much deeper commitment than many today realise. James had to bring correction on this issue stating that faith without works was dead and cannot save, that is faith without corresponding actions is hypocritical and disobedient. True disciples will follow and obey. Take Heed to live faithfully in obedience, holy and contrite.
— “He who endures to the end shall be saved.” (Matt 24,13) … Obviously those who don’t endure to the end or overcome, won’t be saved but will be disqualified.
2.) If a Christian can’t lose their salvation, why did PAUL write these:
— “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons” (I Timothy 4:1) …. They had to be a part of the faith, in order to depart from it. Demons came with deception in order to cause them to depart. They came into agreement with doctrines of demons and unrighteousness and to some degree they rejected the truth and righteousness of God. They chose to enemy of our souls over God – terrible deception.
— “For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them.” (Eph 5, 5-7) … Do you know this? Paul said you should know it. He was speaking to born again christians in this letter, his words were directed at them, He said and ment it for them so they know not to be partaking of such sins. And that if they did they will face the consequences of disinheritance from Heaven and falling under the wrath of God. As he said, don’t let any empty words contradict this warning, but heed it.
— “Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.” (Col 3,5-7) … the same warning repeated a 2nd time to ensure we understand. Put sins to death, repent.
— “No, you yourselves do wrong and cheat, and you do these things to your brethren! Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” (1Cor6,8-10) … the same warning repeated a 3rd time with additional sins to ensure we understand.
— “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” (Gal 5,19-21) … the same warning repeated a 4th time with additional sins to ensure we understand. How many of the same warnings, all given to born again christians, do we need to accept this truth?
— “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life” (Gal 6,7-8) … Very clear cut, and is a summary explanation of the warnings given above. He said not to be deceived. Who are those who are deceived? Those who think they can continue in sins and not be held accountable and suffer the eternal consequences of an unrepentant lifestyle. This calls for genuine repentance and a holy life.
— “For if we go on sinning willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Heb 10, 26-31) … Who is the `we` that the writer to the Hebrews is addressing this warning, its the born again believers in the churches he was writing to and also even himself, we, us! He is not addressing the unsaved. And in the second last verse he makes it clear that God will judge His own people. Are we pursuing sin or pursuing holiness? Are we quick to repent of sins, or continue on with them carelessly. Do we love the world or do we love God? Are we embracing His grace to change and sanctify us, or are we using and abuse His grace as a cloak for sin. Are we obeying God or satan, the Spirit or the flesh? We cant have two masters.
— “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.” (1Cor 9,24-27) … Paul knew (do you) it was possible to be disqualified and took required action.
— “Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, 3 all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ. But with most of them God was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness. Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted. And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.” Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell; nor let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents; nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer. Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.
Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.” (1Cor 10 1-14) … recorded as example for us, that unrepentant sin has consequences for God’s people.
— “For it is impossible for those who were (1) once enlightened, and (2) have tasted the heavenly gift, and (3) have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and (4) have tasted the good word of God and (5) the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame. For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned.” (Heb 6,4-8) … This is special case (not to be confused with the general once saved always saved debate) but is where a mature believer can even go beyond the place of repentance and be lost with no way back. Look above and see the 5 conditions clearly stated and numbered that a believer must go beyond to have then gone too far. The 5 are: the person must have, 1) been enlightened or convicted of sin, 2) received salvation and been born again in Jesus, 3) received the baptism in the Holy Spirit, 4) come to a matured understanding of the word of God, 5) have the gifts of the Holy Spirit listed in 1Cor 12 in continued operation in their lives. If they then fall away from Jesus, turning their backs on Him (not just falling into a sin, but a falling away), its then impossible to restore them to repentance. As we see one would need to have been a mature believer in faith to have reached this point.
— “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.” (Heb 12,14-17) … yes the Bible makes it clear we can fall short of the grace of God, in this case not by unbelief but by continuing in sins such as unforgiveness, bitterness, or fornication. He made it clear that without holiness, no one will see the Lord. We may not yet be perfect but we are called to pursue holiness.
3.) NEVER PLUCKED OUT OF HIS HAND?
Many church people believe they can never ever lose their salvation because they are His sheep and `no one can pluck them from Jesus hand`, even no matter if unrepentant sins may be in their lives. They believe if they are continuing in sins they will lose rewards in Heaven but not go to Hell. Stop dear friend and re-consider exactly what Jesus said ….
John 10, 27-30 “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone pluck them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to pluck (snatch) them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.”
Consider 2 things, the conditions Jesus gave, and what he did & didnt say.
1) His conditions stated in vs27 were that to be counted as His sheep you must hear Him, be known by Him and follow Him. He previously stated that no one can serve two masters, one cannot serve sin and follow Jesus at the same time. If you are continuing in any sins then you arent following Jesus, you are following sin and heading to where sinners go unless repentance. Some clear examples of this is where Jesus said to his disciples – if you call someone a fool you are in danger of Hellfire, if you look with lust its adultery in the heart and without radical repentance would end up in Hell, having unforgiveness would block receiving forgiveness from God (end up in Hell), and many other examples. Next, to Hear his voice, surely we must hear and obey His word to be counted as His Sheep. And to be Known by Him – He said that if we had lawlessness in our lives He would say He never knew us and to depart from Him on the judgment day (Matt 7). So we see that this wonderful promise of security is conditional on following Him in obedience, its not unconditional, and we are accountable.
2) He also said he nobody can pluck you out of His hand or the Fathers hand, and its true – no body, no man can, even satan cannot, praise God, BUT He didnt not say you could not choose to leave the hand yourself by your own free will choices. He even gave his disciples this option in John 6,67 asking if they also wanted to leave. Again if someone chooses to follow sin rather than God’s word , they are choosing to come out of his hand, and if they stay out by continued unrepentant sin, they will be disqualified from heaven and salvation, and be cast into Hell. As Jesus said `Unless you repent , you will likewise perish`.
3. The Lord will never leave us or forsake us, but we can leave him and forsake HIm. If a Christian ends up in Hell it is not the fault of God or for lack of His help. His grace is sufficient to help us walk this out. But we can by our own free choice forsake Him, depart from Him by following sin, and choose to love the world rather than Him. As the Bible says – Roman 6,17 “Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?”.
Dont trust in a doctrine of theologians , but trust only in God’s word and believe it as its written. For it is to this Word that we will be called to give an account of our lives at His judgment seat. No Pastor , theologian or person will be there to explain away or water down His word then, but all will be laid bare before Him to whom we must give account. Test yourself by His word today so that you are not disqualified.
4.) A MAN CALLED SIMON, WHO NEARLY PERISHED
Many believers & churches continue to hold to the false belief that a Christian can never lose their salvation. I have found the `once saved always saved` deception is very deep as we could show many scriptures against this false belief and still they defend it. But lets look now and consider a man named Simon. A Believer who is shown in the Bible as an example and warning that it can indeed be lost. Lets see …
1.) HIS FAITH
Acts 8,9 “there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practiced sorcery in the city and astonished the people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great …. 12 But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized 13 Then Simon himself also BELIEVED; and when he was BAPTISED he CONTINUED with Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which were done.”
So we see there is no doubt he indeed became a born again believer.
2.) HIS FALL
Then perhaps some weeks or months later: Acts 8,18-19 “And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, saying, “Give me this power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.”
3.) HIS STATE & JUDGMENT
Acts 8,20 “But Peter said to him, “Your money PERISH WITH YOU, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money! YOU HAVE NEITHER PART NOR PORTION in this matter, for YOUR HEART IS NOT RIGHT IN THE SIGHT OF GOD. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.”
4.) HIS REPENTANCE
Act 8, 24 “Then Simon answered and said, “Pray to the Lord for me, that none of the things which you have spoken may come upon me.”
So we see that Simon, a born again baptised continuing believer, sinned, was rebuked & his heart exposed. Peter revealed, perhaps by a word of knowledge, the root cause of his sin – “I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity”. He had to humble himself & repent & seek God’s forgiveness or he would have perished. As Jesus also said in another place – `unless you repent, you will all likewise perish`, and as warned to the church in Sardis names can be blotted out of the book of life (Rev 3,1-6)
In the same way there are believers today whose heart is not right in God’s sight, bound in various iniquities (continuing in sins, loving worldliness, carnality), poisoned with bitterness, greed and unforgiveness towards others and in danger of losing their part and lot in the Kingdom and perishing in Hell.
Dont close your ears to truth by believing false doctrine that will only disappoint. We need to get real about any sins and our state of heart before God. Can we humbly pray – “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psalm 139,23-24)
If we fall, the way back into right relationship with God is with genuine Repentance, confessing & forsaking sin, in which we experience His loving kindness and tender mercies as sins are blotted out and cleansing received (Psalm 51). Then we are to pursue Holiness, abiding in Christ, in his grace, fellowship, in true devotion, faith and obedience as we continue back on the narrow road.
5.) CONDITIONAL SECURITY
In Christ a born again believer is saved and has eternal life, but keeping it (making Heaven) it is not unconditional but conditional upon them following Jesus, as the just shall live by faith, and faith without works is dead (James 2). If we dont obey Jesus, we show we dont really believe Him or that we that we are not willing to make Him Lord all of us. As long as we continue in sins, practising them, we are accountable for them, as it says in – Roman 6,17 “Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?“.
Jesus is coming for a bride without spot or wrinkle , so ensure to remove sin from your life. “Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” (2Cor7,1)
— “ What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? …… 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” (James 4, 14-26)
— “Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” (Romans 8, 12-17)
— “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.” (John 15,1-8)
— “You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.” (Romans 11, 19-22)
— “Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, while it is said:“Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” (Hebrews 3,12-15)
— “I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Rev 21,6-8)
— “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” (Rev 22, 14-15)
— “Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.” (1 John 2,3-6)
— “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” (1John2,15-17)
— “This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” (1 John 1,5-10)
6.) DO YOU NEED TO REPENT? And NEED HELP TO LIVE RIGHT?
Do you see sins and issues in your life that are not right? Don’t endanger your salvation, rather come boldly to the throne of Grace, confess your sins and obtain mercy and grace and cleansing of sin. Forsake those sins and pursue Christ in holiness, devotion, and in faith and obedience to His word. `Be holy as He is holy`, that is a command.
Those in CHRIST have access by Faith to a continual abundant supply of Grace and Divine Power through the Holy Spirit. This is His provision to empower us to live a life worthy of His calling, in godliness, holiness, obedience, faith, love, good works, and to overcome the world, the flesh and all the traps of the enemy. Ask, receive and abide in His Spirit and power
— “To those who have obtained like precious FAITH with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ: GRACE and peace be MULTIPLIED to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as HIS DIVINE POWER HAS GIVEN TO US to us ALL things that pertain to LIFE and GODLINESS, through the knowledge of HIM who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us Exceedingly Great and precious PROMISES, that through these you may be PARTAKERS of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” (2Pet1,1-4)
— “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Heb 4, 14-16)
— “the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses.” (Roms 8,26)
— “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. 11 Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. 12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more” (Rev 3, 10-12)
To live an overcoming life it is key that you stay close to God, read His word, have a discipled prayer life, and worship in Spirit and Truth. His grace and help is abundantly available for all who would draw near.
